…………………DESERT is the color name………Oasis could have easily been the color name too. The mood is RICH NEUTRALS, ochre, taupe, cactus, rust burnished orange, gold and black There are many Linea pieces from the past that can work with this coloration. I have chosen to use the most obvious and most dramatic, IVORY and BLACK. The top is the Ivory WK tank with the ribbed bottom, A307363, and the Black Super Ponte pencil skirt, A347449………..I have accessorized the outfit with TWO NEW necklaces that I have designed to work either TOGETHER or on their own. The pendant necklace is called the PINEAPPLE PENDANT, and the companion station necklace with Russian Gold pieces and Resin beads comes with the earring. This necklace is called the SWIRL necklace. The color is HONEY with the RUSSIAN GOLD..These pieces come from my Anne Klein vault!……It also looks incredible layered with necklaces you already own like the Honey Bedouin set….A fabulous black high heel sandal, an espadrille, a wedge or a beautiful flat sandal will all work perfectly! A straw big tote will add some exotic flare….and another texture……Always think of another texture for interest. It adds so much to an outfit……………………………….enjoy…………………..much Love…………………………Louis

Thank you for taking your time to answer my concerns; we all have closets with too little space for all the lovely linea designs. I love the ones that pack easily and no wrinkles. Enjoy the flowers
I don’t know I think the linea ladies would. If Susan Graver can get $72 for her Novelty Knit Kimono with matching stripes, I don’t see why yours wouldn’t. Besides yours is much nicer.
As I said it’s not up to me. I don’t know if it did well at $72. It’s on clearance for $32. We have different buyers, and QVC owns SG so they can do anything they want.
Dear Louis, this is a lovely jacket, but I wish the side stripes matched. I would be willing to spend more money to have that feature. Thank you for all your lovely designs. Just order the azure ombre top and necklace. I had to wait for a new credit card cycle. lol
Dear vickybliss……how much the buyers are will to spend on each garment determines whether we can match are not. Due to the large repeat of the stripe to line them up would mean a lot of wasted fabric. They were just not willing to pay the price. I understand you would pay more but you would be surprised at how many would not.
Just purchased this desert kimono on Sunday, to go with the moss crepe maxi. Saw it on “Kate” (she can sell me anything) with the moss crepe. I purchased that maxi in the Olive and now Rhubarb. The moss crepe with the Berber necklace is to die for. I used to be a perfect Louis Feraud size 8, but not any more. Thx for making clothing for the mature woman’s shape, and for making us look beautiful. Melanie
Who wouldn’t want to look like this? Thanksgiving in So Cal.
Well, if that’s not just the perfect transition piece for pre-fall! I love this…
For some reason, I can message you on “Ask Louis” .
So I’ll hope you get it here. The pineapple necklace is beautiful.
Is it coming in other colors, not the metallic portions, the pineapple itself.
Yes it will come in Honey and olive
I’m ordering the pants and dark olive tunic today.
Your asymmetrical tunic, A263353 is showing three new colors on the
QVC website, Blue, Red and Azure, did you know that?
Cela, I’ve been told but I haven’t received my samples….
In a302566 which color goes with the cardigan, please.
Thank you and how are you?
Dear Seka…I’m OK….I would be better if I got my scripts earlier for the shows. I still don’t have them and probably won’t get them until the end of today. Since I have to go to PA on Sunday it will be a mad rush to get it done…….As for the crepe gauze sleeveless tunic. I love that under the stripe cardigan. For the Desert the Dark Olive and of course Black work perfectly. I also like the Straw. Now it doesn’t match, but with the black bottom like the pebble crepe pull on black crop and olive or honey jewelry it really pulls it together…..A heads up…come early fall anything in CARAMEL looks incredible with the Desert Kimono….like the faux suede pant and TN.
The Desert Kimono has some of my favourite colours – they look autumnal – perfect!
Seka.
