It has come to my attention that UNTRUE claims and reviews were made concerning the J390525 necklace. The reviewers adamantly stated the the beads were PLASTIC not GLASS. I don’t know what qualifications this reviewer has to make such bogus statements, but I can assure you without question that these beads are indeed ALL GLASS not plastic as was falsely claimed. The hot pink beads do have a color coating to achieve this particular color, but that is not uncommon when creating such colors on glass beads. We would never pass off plastic beads as glass. All tests that were made and required by QA certify that the beads are GLASS. So people who profusely make false statements should check the facts before posting such statements. As a courtesy they could have at the very least come here and asked me before posting on the Linea jewelry site……….I would hope in the future if anyone has questions or concerns they would ask me first before making definitive FALSE statements…..This is an attack on my integrity…………………thank you…………….Louis

The review appears to have been removed as I don’t see it now. Many thanks to Somersault for leading the charge!
Hi Barbara, I just looked and the post is still there, but there is a comment below from QVC assuring her the beads are glass. Maybe this is better than taking it down. Perhaps they didn’t want to offend her? The result is the same she was wrong and it’s stated so by customers as well as QVC.
Yes – the Review is still posted – I agree that with the response from the Q it negates the poster’s criticism and the poster looks foolish (I am being kind).
Seka.
OOPS! My bad! I thought it was the Maasai necklace that was in question.
I purchased the necklace in pink and it is beautiful. The majority of my closet is Linea.
Your jewelry and your clothing are perfection and true to the description for anyone who has bought them (as I have many times). If someone did not buy an item, how in the world is that person allowed to post a review?! I only review those items I have bought. There is far too much bullying , rudeness, and negativity in the world today. I was brought up in a time when politeness was a virtue taught at a young age, and I still go by that principle. Patience, respect, integrity–all of these were taught to me as a child. Hopefully QVC will watch what reviews say more closely in the immediate future.
We came out like an army to defend the quality of your jewelry, Louis. Thanks for letting us know so we could deploy!
Louis, I reported the bogus review, yesterday and this morning I wrote of this on the thread and Susan, a moderator responded to my request that it should be removed. She said she would pass it on to the correct person. QVC has made two qualifying statements under the woman’s review that the beads are indeed glass. I’m still not happy, I believe the review should be deleted completely. I’ll keep trying! oxoxoxox
QVC has posted a response to the review.
Louis, so sorry that you have had to be sidetracked from your busy schedule to have to address this.
You do a wonderful job!!!! I appreciate your designs and commitment to
us. I look forward to your presentations next week.
Sincerely
Sarah
Louis, although I do not own this particular piece, I have many, many of your jewelry designs and know the quality and workmanship you put in all your creations. Your meticulous craftsmanship and pride you put in all of your work is evident, as if each piece is your child, and we Linea Ladies truly appreciate it! I too have indicated that the review was NOT helpful (yet you can’t do it through the QVC app, only directly on their website,) so I, as we all do, help.
You have an army of devout followers who truly love and appreciate your art, inspirations and candor. Don’t allow this to dishearten you as it has only established how many Ladies you have impacted on a personal level by making them feel beautiful. This ugly display of hate has actually metamorphosed into a parade of love and devotion as you are so worth it!
The Q needs to reprogram their reviewing process. They could learn something from HSN where you are not allowed to post a review if you have not purchased the item–it knows if you’ve bought it–doesn’t have to ask you to self-report! In addition, it does not allow you to leave a review until 7 days after you’ve received it, so you are not leaving a “knee jerk” review, but have time to consider the item. Time for the Q to up their game!
Sheila
Shelia, since QVC owns HSN you would think they would all have the same rules and requirements.
I did my part and checked the box NO if it that review was helpful. So far, there were 18 no votes. I encourage all Linea ladies to vote no to send a message to potential buyers that there is disagreement with that review. I am wondering if this is the same person that votes “no” on every review written. Whoever it is, they do it so often that the “no” vote is now ignored as a troll. Louis, do not worry, your supporters will discount poor reviews that are unfounded.
Dear Jackie, Thank you for your support. Believe me I am not worried it’s just that you get to a point when you just have to stand up against a bully, and this person is the worst kind, because it’s really anonymous. Normally, I would ignore such things and move on, but I stand behind my product, and I wouldn’t want to buy something that I thought was one thing to find out it was something else. People read these reviews and assume the reviewer is stating something in good faith to help us all reach a decision, and this person just breached that faith. I felt I had to call her out and make an example of this person.I do thank you for your support for this and everything else.
Louis, I just reported this review also. Frankly, it’s ridiculous that QVC allows reviews from individuals who have not purchased a product. Other companies have ways to verify that reviews are valid, not bogus like this one. It’s a shame when such a reputable person as yourself is smeared by such a lowlife! (Can you tell this kind of thing gets my ire up?)
I reported this so called reviewer, hopefully Q will retract it.
There are so many mean, evil spirited people in the world lately. If I can do my little part to help I’ll gladly do so.
I’ve come to never doubt your integrity, honesty and stellar character.
We have your back!
I can totally understand your frustration and anger at such a bogus review, Louis. Why QVC lets someone write a review of something they did not even purchase is beyond me. There are people that are simply “pot stirrers” and enjoy causing pain and giving insults. Then there are folks who are just not too smart…..they can’t help it…just like I can’t help that I have brown eyes. But it is sad to have to endure them. I could do little with this review, but give it a “no”.
Louis, there is so much jealousy and ugliness lately. I requested that the review be removed as it was a bogus review especially since the person never purchased it. I have no doubt that it was extremely upsetting to you! oxoxoxoxo Cat
I submitted a review saying the beads are glass (I have the black and pearl one). Look for it to post in the next couple of days (unless QVC censors it).
Thank you JBC….it just ticks me off when they saying things that just aren’t true…It turns women off to the product with lies.
It should tick you off as the review is untrue and unfair. Hope my review will post as a counter to the lie.
Thank you….sometimes I just shake my head and wonder who are these people, and they should be doing something constructive with their lives instead of trashing people.
My review posted (shopQVConline), so perhaps that will set the record straight. Hope so.
I do agree with Sheesh that the Q needs to be more diligent with their review process. It states even in the Q description that they are GLASS, not plastic. Yes, that person sounds like a hit and run reviewer.
The high quality of your pieces is always consistent.
Dear Louis,
I absolutely detest these sorts of inaccurate and unfair attacks — especially to people I care about. Those who perpetrate such unethical acts are unprincipled and have no character, as far as I’m concerned. What else can explain their inclination to indulge in lies and destructive deeds?
As the other poster said, this person never even bought the necklace; she or he had no way of knowing if it was fashioned from glass or plastic.
“Did you purchase and receive the item you are currently reviewing?
No”
Chalk this up to an unscrupulous act by someone with an ax to grind or to commercial sabotage. Where has integrity gone?
The reviewer did not even purchase the necklace! (see below her review) How on earth could she even guess about the beads?
