………………When we go to museums and look at abstract paintings we all have our own interpretations of what they look like, and what they mean to us………….When I first saw this art work, before it became a print, it immediately reminded me of the great cathedrals I have seen throughout Europe. I was reminded of their interior soaring arches and the incredible detail that was created and made by super craftsmen and artists centuries ago. The combination of the light streaming through the magnificent stain glass windows and the architecture were all brought to mind when I looked at this artwork….so the name of the print is very personal to me. You may see something else when looking at the print that is familiar and personal to you………….The Cathedral top above……A347493,……is simply called Blue. There are many shades of blue…the pale sky blue, the deepest navy blue, blue greens, and iris blues all blend together to create this unusual print………There are no “bells and whistles” or tricks to the shape. It has a classic jewel neckline, long sleeves, a semi fit and a straight bottom……..classic…….It’s all about the print. The length was pretty much determined by the print, and is approx. 26 inches for the xxs. The fabric is my poly jersey so you all know the cool hand and the quality of the fabric. It continues to be one of my best selling fabrics so I continue to use it. You can’t fight success. It washes beautifully and travels perfectly without any wrinkles or cling problems…………….I have accessorized the Blue Cathedral top with the BLUE CATHEDRAL NECKLACE & EARRING SET, J479219. It is a 72 inch continuous station necklace made of round GLASS BEADS in colors chosen to specifically work with the top…..so the match is perfect. You can wear this 72 inch necklace many ways. I have a few necklace shown above so you can see them better against the print…….The EARRING is a thin gunmetal hoop with three different color beads hanging down the center from a lever back, and all are weightless!…………….The NAVY pant is my super ponte crop pant…..A265615…..Long navy pants. short or long navy skirts and of course jeans will all look perfect!……..I must say the print is mesmerizing………………………………….enjoy………………………much Love…………………..Louis

Hello Louis
When will the cathedral tops air or are they already sold out?
They haven’t been sold yet….I would think on the 30th, which is the next show date, QVC1 at 11am
Louis,
That was me who wrote above.
Chris
Hi Louis,
This is what you wrote above for the blue cathedral top: The Cathedral top above……A347493,……
So you may have the loden trench # or the Cathedral top # incorrect.
Chris
Okay…..the trench is A370421, and the Cathedral top is A347493…..did I ever get that screwed up
The October 4th entry titled The Loden Big Deal Trench Coat. “Coats like this rarely cross your path…..The style number is A347493…….Enjoy……Much love…. Louis
Chris….I still don’t understand….I can be dense, or so Jac used to tell me, but the style number for the trench is A347493, I just double checked?
In the blog for the loden trench coat, the number for the cathedral print is written for the coat — BUT in the comments you put the correct number.
Sorry Chris, I don’t see it? Which post has an incorrect style number and which item is incorrect?
Hi Louis,
The item number is the same number as the faux suede trench coat..
Regards
Chris
Chris, not sure what you are referring to….The Cathedral top is A347493
I’ve been waiting for this! I’m in for blue and alabaster. This fabric travels like a dream and your jersey prints, beyond their beauty, always have figure-flattering magic tricks in their design and placement. Can’t wait to order. But I do have a question: As shown here, the top appears to be quite form fitted. Is that a function of the manequin and sample size, or should I size up for a semi-fitted look? Thanks for all you do, and continued best wishes.
Dear MHMN, I don’t believe it’s fitted. I’d call it semi fitted, but check the bust, waist and hip measurements before you purchase. Remember, this fabric has lots of stretch.
Hi, Louis. Loving cathedrals like you do, have you read the novel “Pillars of the Earth” by Ken Follett? I highly recommend. Curl up in front of the fire with a snifter of brandy and be transported back to Medieval England and the building of the first cathedrals. You’ll love it!
Sheila
Dear Shelia….I don’t believe I have, but I’ll check Amazon for it.
Wooooooo!!! I have been waiting for these. I knew I’d love them based on the one Jennifer wore in the FB video, and these sneak peeks do not disappoint. These are so me as I can put them on with jeans/pants, a great shoe, a little jewelry and be ready to go. I have a lot of your print tops and wear them all the time. Great fabric and cut.
These color combos are gorgeous! It certainly does look like stained glass in cathedrals. I’ll be getting at least three, maybe four. Will have to pick up one of the necklaces too.
Hope you have a great weekend Louis!
