January sneak peek #4 is A231144, the DANCE SKIRT. Why do I call it the dance skirt?….because…..both the bodysuit and this skirt were inspired by dancer’s workout and theater clothes. Think of a modern dancer in motion. The fabric and colors are the same as the body suit, Rayon/Span………..RUBY……………Black…………Truffle. The skirt has a full elastic waist so it is a pull-on skirt. However, it has a flat front waist band. It also has a faux/real wrap……….meaning the wrap over is real, but the under lay is closed so there is no need to worry about exposing anything. Everyone will think you are wearing a real wrap skirt. To accentuate the “look” of the wrap there are two non working buttons on the waist band which looks like the under panel is attached by the buttons. The skirt is approx 31 1/2 to 32 1/2 inches long depending on where you place the band. Wear this skirt as a two piece dress with the bodysuit or as a terrific separate skirt, that you can wear with anything and any time of year. These pieces are great for traveling as they are easy to pack and are practically wash and wear. As you can see from the photos, the skirt is slim over the hips and then flares out at the bottom………a true DANCE SKIRT!…….Enjoy, much Love…………..Louis
Are we getting the necklaces shown with the truffle bodysuit? I have some I purchased from Yvonne, but I “need” other colors.
Yes…..and no….I did it in three oolors….the amber, olive [not shown] and sage. We all felt the olive and sage were too close so they bought the amber and olive. There is a great earring and a spectacular bold bracelet which I will be showing in the show. The store that Yvonne worked in is closing at the end of Jan. After 35 years Jacques is retiring……a great loss.

I’m transported back to the days of disco! If I was only 23 again and had the body I had then…..of course, I could afford to buy all three colors then, so there are compensations!

I used to dress this way with a scoop neck body suit—simply because it was soooo comfortable and flattering—and was frequently asked did I dance, not! But I love this look!
