It is fully lined in stretch tricot knit……..However, it is the EXQUISITE EMBROIDERY that will startle you. The cascading floral descends and gets more and more dense until it melds into a fantastic border design. The hem is a hand cut scallop……..Needless to say it looks like so much more money than what it actually is. The embroidery has a subtle sheen, and reflects the light beautifully…..On closer examination you will see the beautiful workmanship. While others may just sew the tulle together and leave it that way, on this skirt each horizontal seam of each tier is PIPED to reinforce the delicate tulle. Embroidered tulle skirts have appeared on many fashion runways this season……like DIOR, and have popped up in a few catalogs…The prices range from three figures to four figures…The one I’ve seen most recently is the skirt in the Sundance Catalog. It has a fourth of the embroidery this skirt has and is approx $200…..The 72″ “GLITTERATI” FACETED GLASS BEAD NECKLACES and EARRING set were made TO GO with the skirt. One of the necklaces is a BLACK JET, and the other is a combination of solid BLUE faceted beads and BLUE IRIDESCENT beads with GREY. Dear Anita, I am so sorry to hear your skirt was stolen. WHAT IS THE MATTER WITH PEOPLE!!!! I’m sorry to say we are finished manufacturing fall items even ones that did incredibly well like the emb. skirt. It probably will be reordered for next fall, but with QVC you never know. The returns as you can imagine, have been extremely low.

Shut the door! This skirt is beyond fabulous, Louis. I have no idea where I’m wearing this yet, but I don’t care if it’s my living room, it’s worthy of ordering. I have several special black sweaters that will pair perfectly with it. I’m out of town for the show, but I am stalking every day for this!
Wow. Wow. Wow. That is what I said to myself when I saw your photos of the new skirt. Unique and unlike anything in my closet. We are spending Christmas in Williamsburg this year – guess what I am taking with me? It will be a tough decision which one to buy although I am leaning toward the blue. Dear Dawn….the reg is 38 inches, but that includes the waist band. The petite is 35 inches, again that includes the waist band…..so they are about 1 1/2 inches shorter. I would sasy they are long though I don’t know what measurement a long skirt is considered to be. You can always compare the length with your longest skirt.

Dear Pat….the petite is 35 inches which is from the top of the waist band. I don’t know why they measure that way? I always measure from the bottom of the waist band so it’s actually about 1- 1 1/2 inches shorter and you can always roll the band once.

WOW. What a LOOK. I have that WK sweater in black, which will be perfect, but I also have a 3/4 sleeve white shantung silk finely embroidered wing collar blouse that I’m seeing with this. I also will wear it with a classic black cashmere twin set. This skirt is just beautiful, Louis, and well worth waiting for.

These skirts are spectacular! Perfect for those times when you want to somewhat dressy, but not sure exactly how dressy. This skirt will also be perfect for traveling as I am usually a study in black when I travel. I am an economic packer.
