…………………………The GLITTERATI NECKLACE & EARRING SET, J428966 in TURQUOISE is simply beautiful!……When I look at the color cards of all the different colors these beads come in I want to make a necklace in each and every one. This is a necklace I have done before. It’s 72 inches long with a three inch extender……..The GLASS FACETED BEADS are linked together, which makes a necklace at this length much stronger…..but……it’s ALL ABOUT THE BEADS…………………..The Turquoise beads above are BI-COLORED with a mix of deep Turquoise and an iridescent CHOCOLATE….The drop earring is made out of the same iridescent bead……Naturally the necklace will look great on turquoise and all shades of brown including dk. chocolate and espresso, but I know you will find so many different ways to wear this necklace like on the Heather Mink Whisper TN above, and a simple ivory blouse……………..enjoy………………..much Love…………………Louis

These turq beads are so beautiful. I have the necklace from the original group of three when you used this metal link construction that included them, (I think it was called Alabaster?), and it’s one of my favorites among the 5 of these that I own. When you first came out with these, I thought how much they reminded me of the really old Czech glass Mardi Gras beads that were used long before all the beads were plastic, back when Mardi Gras was a local occasion. Yours are far more exquisite, of course, but I wore the Alabaster with my adobe blouse and chocolate slim pants along with the Caramel plaid blazer to dinner at a local New Orleans style restaurant here that is owned and run by a couple who had a restaurant by the same name (Dick and Jennie’s) where we used to dine on our trips to NOLA before Katrina flooded them out. They evacuated to the Buffalo area because Jennie was originally from here, decided to stay and open a 2nd branch here, and sold their old place to their employees back home. Long story short, Jennie waited on us, and while we were talking she noticed my beads, exclaimed over them, and said they looked like VERY exclusive Mardi Gras jewelry! So there you go. If we’re ever crazy enough to go to NOLA for Mardi Gras, I will be taking all of my necklaces with me, and no one will have to throw me anything from a float, lol.
Louis, are these necklaces similar to the black faceted necklaces you sold a few years back? If so, I bought double strands and cannot tell you how many times I wear them. They look like a million bucks. Classic. Elegant. Money. My necklaces doubled are quite “weighty” when I wear both of them, but that is what makes them spectacular. They lay beautifully. These are a must to add to my already extensive Linea jewelry collection. Bravo!
Dear Jackie….I did three versions of the 72 inch glass faceted bead necklaces. One was just strung on cord, one was hand knotted like a pearl necklace, and one was linked together with metal links like this one. They all had the exact same GLASS faceted beads. I don’t know which version you have, but they are basically all the same. It was just the different constructions. I have found that because they are 72 inches, which no one makes with this size bead, linking them together with the metal links is the safest way to make them to insure there will be no breakage.
Thank you for all of the various jewelry close ups (all colors). I wish Q would have a Linea jewelry show.
