………………..Happy Halloween everyone! I can’t believe how quickly the time is passing. Tomorrow is November already, and with only three weeks between Thanksgiving and Christmas it will seem like the time is flying by…….It’s a rainy miserable day here in CT. To bad Calf. can’t have some of this weather! I live down a long dark driveway and never get trick or treaters. I used to buy candy and leave it in a large bowl outside my front door. Late at night, just before going to bed, I’d bring the bowl in and not one piece was taken………..so no more candy………..I was the only one eating it!!!!!!……………………………………….enjoy your day and NIGHT!……………………….much love………………Louis

Trick or Treat was last night here, in the grey dreary drizzle. Not to be deterred, Indiana Jones’ cousin Walter held court for 2 hours on the front porch in our small town, dressed fasionably in an explorer’s beat up leather jacket, pith helmet and rope, accompanied by his werewolf in training, who likes the kids even more than he does LOL. Between them, the 12′ fire breathing dragon and the giant spider, they managed to give out all their candy except for a few pieces and came in, to fall asleep on the sofa 😉
Happy Halloween, Louis!
Ahhh yes! It was Mary. Fabulous in all red. I look forward to the Harlequin necklace too!
Happy Halloween!
We don’t get any trick or treaters, thank goodness. With six dogs that bark at anything, that would be a nightmare. I’d have to sit on the porch with a glass of wine waiting for them to show up so they wouldn’t ring the doorbell. I don’t miss guessing how much candy to buy either. I didn’t want to run out and I didn’t want to be stuck with a lot of leftovers.
I ordered three of the cathedral shirts, the yellow WK and the gorgeous latte skirt. If you recall I already got my blazers. Such beautiful items! It’s like Christmas whenever I receive my orders.
Still figuring out which jewelry to order. Loved the (albeit brief) jewelry sneak peeks in the show yesterday. The twist necklace, that gorgeous flower one, there was another longer one I think Brenda was wearing with the scarlet outfit…
And the tassel you just sneak peeked. Wow!!!
WOW Melissa you did alright….I think it was Mary in the Red blazer trench and v-neck sweater with the new HARLEQUIN necklace…coming later.
Forgot to mention “candies” before “large portion,” but you probably understood that the goodies end up in my system and not the Trick or Treaters. LOL
It is raining here, too, Louis. There is one window of opportunity for the Trick or Treaters, according to the weatherman, and that is to go out early, around 5:00 p.m. Most parents are rushing home from work at that hour around here. Maybe they will do it differently today. I have fewer and fewer Trick or Treaters every year. It makes me a bit sad. Like you, a large portion goes into my system, and that is the risk of having the goodies around.
Enjoy your evening in peace and perhaps with a nice glass of sherry.
