………………….VERDIGRIS…………..is a color and a special technique that I love. It looks like nothing else, and is as close to being artisan as you can get. What is Verdigris. The color is created naturally when copper is oxidized. I am sure many of you have seen copper water spouts, and outside copper decorations on houses that have turned, with time to a verdigris patina…..a beautiful turquoise green. The Verdigris discs have a dark copper base and are treated to turn this wonderful color. There are many things like humidity, and heat that can effect the final color so it is very irregular. No two discs will be exactly alike, and the color will vary greatly in one piece…..but that is the beauty of VERDIGRIS……..If you are looking for something very uniform Verdigris is not for you. One of the other choices would suit you better………………..However if you love, as I do, the look of Verdigris then these pieces will be perfect for you……There is nothing else like it…………………………….enjoy……………….much Love……………….Louis

This is such a sensuous SEXY set. I’d love to take all three pieces on a St. Bart’s holiday with a white gauze dress, the white georgette safari top, a pair of jeans and maybe your black printed floral skirt… And just dance the night away….I have the Etruscan set in two colors, but this set I would love in all the colors, I thought this might be cute with the green patina fish but I think this is very different. Mr Louis, I do believe you have the best jewelry collection at QVC😎
Dear Cela…..I appreciate your words very much. I love designing……anything…. Apparel and jewelry are true loves. I love designing jewelry because there are no limitations. I can use the best materials used for costume fashion jewelry. I only wish the same can be said for apparel. There are limitations due to price, and with the tariffs and duties rising it only becomes more challenging, but one I am happy to work with. Anne Klein always said a good designer could design anything. Truer words were never spoken……..Your trip to St. Barts sound wonderful!
