I believe the LONG TRENCH COAT and the TUXEDO jacket will be reordered for next Late Fall. What colors in the trench would you like to see returned and what new colors added. For the tuxedo what new colors would you buy? Remember it can not be done in IVORY or WHITE, and the satin must always be BLACK.

For the tuxedo jacket, can they do a pinstripe, not too thin? Perhaps a red(blue red), fuchsia, or bright blue(think water color around Greece) in solid?
In the trench coat can we get a bold Kelly green or orange so we can wear them year ’round?
In any event, saturate the colors, please.

That all sounds great Pamela, but they are all new items and the buyers would never invest in two tuxedo jackets especially where a well done sequin one would be much more expensive…..Maybe when the Tuxedo sells out!
For me …the tuxedo jacket in espresso AND charcoal with sequined pants in the same would be fabulous. Don’t wear navy as much as I always think I will, except spring/summer with white. Here in the sunny south,can’t wear jackets much in spring and summer. I missed the scarlet trench ,so that in petite suits me. You’re the best. Looking forward to wed. And new BD
That’s wonderful news Louis!! I didn’t order the longer trench but I am so pleased with the shorter original version in the black and olive (my neutrals). Now that tuxedo is fabulous I didn’t think it was coming back so I brought two in two different sizes! Ivory would have be gorgeous especially with the sequin pants but if I had to choose a color it would be navy because your navy is out of this world gorgeous!

Well, I’m voting for a Perfectly Pink Trench (or Winter White, Alabaster or Sapphire). I don’t know the limitations on the Tuxedo fabric, but can you do a Black pin Stripe or a tone on tone stripe tuxedo jacket? If not, then a Sapphire Tuxedo jacket. Thanks, Louis.

Tuxedo Jacket, which I adore: Blue, maybe a deep sapphire to be worn with this year’s embroidered skirt? Usually I’d prefer Navy, but a dark sapphire might show off the black collar better? And/Or: One of your “burgundy reds” such as Port or Aubergine. Or: Cranberry deep red OR: Silvery Grey especially if there could be silvery grey sequin pants … OOOH that would be divine!

I love your black tuxedo jacket. I have worn it with Linea black sequin as well as Linea black suit pants many times.When you are not sure how dressy an occasion will be, the tuxedo jacket/pants fill the bill beautifully. If you do another color of tuxedo jacket, I would choose ivory or alabaster. I have pants from your Linea collection in both of those colors. I would love a tuxedo jacket in ivory or alabaster. What a great classy dressy outfit even in spring and summer.
I own several of your shorter trench coats in the two tone as well as faux suede. They are so classy. As I am only 5’3″ the shorter version is more or less full length for me. Your longer trench is just too long so I will not be purchasing. So I best not weigh in.
Dear Joanne, as I explained in my request for color ideas, neither the trench or the tuxedo can be done in ivory or white as these styles were never priced for those colors.

I wear it in the Springtime, almost could have put it on today with the temperature in NYC.

I’d love the trench in Navy and Red. I’ve been wondering if you thought of making pants from the same fabric. I know stretch and elastic band pants sell the best, but I have the camel trench and jacket and I keep thinking the same fabric pants would be better. ( I have the ponte) That fabric is very nice for the price. I have been wearing it a lot lately and no wear or pilling, so it is lasting better than I thought.
Dear Karen, when the tuxedo jacket first came out there was a matching pant in black, but it didn’t do well enough to be reordered. If a pant isn’t in a stretch knit the chance of it doing well and reordering are slim.

Ah I understand that the unusual colors won’t sell well. But may be the Light blue is a good neutral and will be liked by many. Light pink/blush and mustard may be hard to sell, I know! But can you please try to introduce one new light color? Thanks for asking 😊
I would love darkest midnight blue in both coat and jacket. A classic dark beige would work for me better than ivory in the trench, but I trust your judgment Louis!

I would love a dark heather gray in the trench coat;you have a color in whisper knit that is on point with the color I am trying to describe. It is caught between black and gray, and it is so elegant. As for the trench coat, I was a vintage shopper as a teenager, and I had the most fabulous black brocade tuxedo/smoking jacket. I still think of that jacket and wish that chic piece was still hanging in my closet alongside yours, which I absolutely love. All the best, to you Louis!

Dear Diane….funny you should ask….I asked the same thing too….It seems, since the pant wasn’t reordered last year for some unexplained reason the planners [they are the ones who decide what should be reordered, not the buyers] “KILLED” the style number. In order to bring the same pant back it has to be given a new style number. Usually when a killed style is brought back it is supposed to be changed a little, but I refused to. Why mess with perfection…..So to answer your question…..Yes, the exact sequin pant, as of now is returning, but with a new style number. So far Black only, but I’m working on them.

Tough colors to sell Pratt. I don’t think many women would buy a long trench coat in these colors though they would be very pretty….they would be very boutique where they only buy a very limited amount of coats.
Louis, I wish I had your leopard or zebra coats! I love my faux suede trench from this year. Your clothes are timeless! I still wear your shantung military style suits. They must be about 15 years old, and still look fresh and modern. Love your work!

I have silver hair and blue eyes so my vote is sapphire for the tuxedo jacket. I also love the thought of aubergine. I am sure I will love whatever you decide upon!
