Love the video sneak peeks. I have missed your descriptions and discussion of details on your designs. And, yes, I do have at least five of the ombre tops. I really like the one with copper coloring. I may need to make room for one more. Take care Louis.

Bravo Louigino! Or whatever your dear Amalfi friends called you. I found the name charming, but I should have written it down. I hope that’s close. It’s great to have you back! These sneak peek videos are priceless. No one can describe your designs like you do. This ombre design is one of my favorites, and I have 20. The Black/White is still in process, and I’m still debating on the Black/Copper. Not all of your designs work for me, but this one..oh YES!
Dear designista….you were close….Luigino which means little louie. Giovanna and her husband Marcello brought me over to Italy to work on sweaters for my very first design position at a company called Giorgini in 1970. After I left Giorgini to work at Anne Klein. I continued designing and going to Florence Italy 3 to 4 times a year to work with Giovanna developing all of the knit wear for AK. Even though it has been over 20 years since we have worked together we e-mail each other and send pictures all the time. She even looks at my website to see me…..She is like the sister I never had, and I will always be the one she named her Luigino. I can’t begin to tell you how much Jac and I loved them and still do.
I have already ordered the copper/black/white top and own all the jewelry pieces you’re showing with it. The finish on the Grecian coin pieces is so good. I also have the verdigris pieces.
I didn’t think I needed the b/w version of this top (I’m sure I own at least 10 now) but I have the b/w Massai pieces and seeing them together–game changer! Going to order this top now.
In So Cal, these are year around wear, although I do put a few of the more summery colors into storage each fall. Otherwise I don’t have room for all my wk sweaters!
