I keep coming back to this collage. Black with gold jewelry is so … so hard to put into words. Every time you put that combo together it goes past my eyes, my head, and into an abstract place that says Yes Wow It. This is a beautiful Fall collection. I hope it was as satisfying when you envisioned and created it as we will feel wearing it.
Dear Pecan Cookie…..these are the clothes I love to design, and I might add the hardest to design. Creating simple, modern, timeless pieces is a true challenge…..They can look dull and boring if there isn’t a touch of exaggeration. The sleeveless TN, the longer WK skirt, the slim pant and the sculptured jacket add just enough drama to keep the entire group of clothing relevant forever. The color too is very important. It is very easy to add frou to clothes, ruffles and decoration and call it chic, but for me the true chic clothes are the simplest most minimal. Then with or without accessories each woman can personalize the look to their liking…….If I had to choose two colors I was only allowed to design in for the rest of my career, and one metal color it would be BLACK and IVORY and 24K GOLD….Why 24K because it is the warmest deepest gold color.
Dear Louis, sorry for not including the item number. It is A366197 the whisper knit V neck sweater. I have it in the red and navy. Love it so I am hoping there will be a new color. We had lots of wind and rain here in central Illinois today. Stay safe.
Dear Bev….that sweater hasn’t been reordered so there will be no additional colors. Almost every review was a 5 star review, but the sales didn’t live up to the reviews. Almost every color is avail. in every size. With the sales, to my surprise after everyone wanted WK so much, not being good enough it will not continue.There were so few WK styles last fall that I was very surprised it didn’t do much better. It’s such a classic sweater
Hi Louis, I just wanted to say that I love all the new pieces. My card will be smoking hot!!! I do have a question…what is the difference between the new blazer and the one you did last year? I have it in the red color. That jacket fits me just right so I would like a comparison to judge the fit on the new blazer. Also. will there be any new colors in the WK sweater from last year? Sorry for so many questions at once but inquiring minds want to know. LOL. Thank you.
Dear Bev….the jackets are very different, but that doesn’t mean the sizing should be different as we fit everything on the same model for consistency. I don’t know what sweater you are referring to. I need an A#
Yup, I too am totally confused. I’m not complaining. It’s a HAPPY state of confusion. I was so fixated on the coming Navy and Bright Pink Blazers in the trench coat fabric and then all of a sudden the clusters took center stage. I did not know a new jacket was coming with most of the cluster fabrics. Then I remember Louis saying there was NOT going to be caramel in the new WK clusters and all of a sudden it was there. I now have not a clue WHEN these clusters are coming, nor when the TCF blazers will be coming (the navy and the bright pink) nor when the OTHER TCF jackets are coming in black, dark grey, plum and bisque. And I’m wondering what happened to Pine???? I thought it was going to be a cluster color but maybe now it is going to be an accent for either a boucle jacket or a plaid jacket……Like I said, a HAPPY STATE of CONFUSION. It will be driving me nuts to wait until QVC posts any of these clusters so really hoping somebody jumps right on this blog to announce it!!! Thanks In Advance 🙂
Nancy…you are very confused, and frankly you are confusing me by your term “cluster” which I have never used. The new jacket will not be in GREY. I never listed it in grey. The navy and vivid pink reorder jackets are coming in Nov. I never said Caramel wasn’t going to be in WK, however not every color is going to be in every style. Maybe you should review the sneak peeks to un-confuse you. See this is what happens when I give you too much into of things coming in the future.
Oh, so there’s another blazer, not just the tweed jacket, but a plaid one too? Oh my gosh, you’re killing me. The plaid one sounds divine! Sorry I’m getting so confused.
By the way, the grande tassel in chocolate/black is on my wishlist. It looks so beautiful in these pics. But when I made my decision to buy, I chose the amber one. Maybe someday I’ll get the other one, but I’m not sure since it seems you have so many beautiful pieces coming!
Fabulous! I’m going to have some major decisions to make. Plum is my must-have. Hard to pass up a black blazer, even though I usually only wear blazers with jeans. But I do have the sequin pants and the latte embroidered skirt to pair with it. I love the look of the turtleneck but in FL I just don’t get to wear them much. And even though I used to love turtlenecks, they don’t do my neck any favors anymore. 😕
I know it’s probably not time for a sneak peek of the tweed jacket you have coming, but will the alabaster tank work with the grey/bisque one? Which tweed jacket does the pine tank go with?
Don’t get me wrong, I appreciate all the sneak peeks you’re giving us, but also awaiting all of the upcoming items (tweed blazers, satin blouses) so I can figure out what all I’m going to buy. I know I’m going to want everything…😩
Dear Melissa….I would love to help you out with pics, but I have not received my samples yet…..Yes, the Bisque and black tanks will work with the Bisque/Black tweed….No, the Pine goes with a new plaid blazer in beautiful colors….think, black, magenta, fuchsia,either Bisque or buttercream, but it’s so little it won’t matter and pine. I don’t have any of the samples yet for Sept.
You just had to show the WK with the sequin pants, didn’t you? Lol! Love it! RE masks: I was thinking this morning that I’ll need a special mask since none of the ones I have coordinate with plum. I love how the Speaker of the House, Nancy, is always so elegantly styled but maybe she has someone help getting a mask that coordinates. Sorry! I digressed…thank you for bringing back the WKs!

Definitely all the black pieces for me, including the exquisite new black jacket, which will join many others in my closet. But, none like this one! I also have most of the jewelry shown and the sequin pants, so when this pandemic subsides, I will have all I need to put together the Jac outfit and so many more for travel. All activities on a wish and a prayer for the time being…
