That rabbit is taking grass to line a nest for future babies! I saw one this past year in the spring doing that where it made a nest among my daylilies. It never used it but I did have 2 babies visiting after about a month from that nest sighting.
Chris, I’ve had those nests too. My gardener Franco always finds them!
