…………….Over the past twenty years…..it’s so surreal just typing that…..TWENTY YEARS……..I don’t think I have ever done a TARTAN PLAID JACKET????……plaids and checks quite a few, but not a Tartan. This actually isn’t a true “clan tartan”, but my interpretation of a “clan tartan”……..The fabric is a BOUCLE…….Like with all fabrics there are different types and qualities. Some boucles are very loopy, textured and thick, and some, like this boucle are not…so the look is more slimming!..You can see the boucle effect in the cloth, but this is a PRESSED BOUCLE, which makes the fabric flatter, and feel lighter in weight. It also looks more tailored because it isn’t as soft and lofty as a thicker boucle…So the tailoring is sharper……The accent colors, on the field of the SCARLET RED and NAVY PLAID, are a bright blue, a green I call spearmint, and a pale ivory that looks perfect with the new Bisque and the Alabaster…. ..The shoulder, like all of my jackets is well defined, and creates the HANG & BALANCE of the jacket…..The jacket has a three button front with dimensional antique looking brass buttons. It has inset band pockets….The body darts and princess seams give the jacket a lovely flattering shape. Of course the jacket is fully lined. The length of the jacket is approx. 26 inches long for the size 4….so it is a shorter jacket….The jacket is numerically sized……The style number is…..A385145…..This small group of clothing, 5 pieces, is well coordinated for complete looks……The beautiful mini floral georgette blouse was created specifically to go with the plaid. Worn together it has a very “designer” look, and something you only find at LINEA on QVC. The print will also appeal, I believe, to woman who aren’t particular print wearers. Those of you who are always looking for a print to coordinate will love this one…..More about the blouse on up coming sneak peeks…….This blazer looks great worn with the print, and combined with JEANS……a very casual going to Sunday brunch look….. They were meant to go together like bacon and eggs….yum!…..Have fun accessorizing with jewelry you may already own such as the Carmine Trevi necklace and the Amalfi necklace, shown above….the Chatelaine brooch…and the Multi Capri necklace, earring and bracelet all also shown above……New jewelry will also be offered that was done to go with this group of clothing, but it’s been delayed due to Covid, but they are coming and the’re beautiful!………………enjoy your Linea TARTAN PLAID jacket……………..much Love…………….Louis

Great!! Thanks so much Louis!
Hi Louis,
After looking more closely at the floral print blouses, it looks like they each have green in them. Would either of them work with your forest green blazer from last year?
Yes Melissa they will both work with the blazer and the F green F Suede pant too
Okay, so when you started dangling this blazer in front of our imaginations several weeks ago, I stupidly thought I was set with plaid blazers, having bought two of your perfect plaid blazers from last year. When I heard it was boucle, I also thought this was going to be a credit card cooling moment because I find boucle to be bulk adding, which makes me not a fan. BUT -oh.. was I wrong. These two sneak peaks-and you have not even shown the two color combinations I am most intrigued to see-have convinced me of the error of my thinking. I love the idea of a pressed boucle- all of the awesome texture without the look my cat gets when it’s humid. What a concept! And the tartan plaid is stunning. Then there is that compass necklace…sigh.
Thanks for doing the sneak peaks.
