I agree with Cela,. I would like one of your sketches, I’d frame it, hang it, and everytime I looked at it I would smile.

Louis, thank you for sharing your lovely view with us! We are having record breaking high temperatures here and I am just enjoying it so very much! My husband bought me an outdoor heater for our front porch so I can extend the season a little longer, but I didn’t even need it today. It’s wonderful to think about lovely things and to have some good news in this year that is almost over!
We are hunkered down here as the virus numbers are quite bad and our hospitals are struggling. Your view makes me wish we had looked for a place on one of the lakes around here as we are home so much now. Off to make lasagna for my hungry guys. Love and hugs to you!
You don’t know what your missing. You just have to move to L.A. then.
We have seen whales and dolphins many times when Jac and I took our yearly visit to Malibu for Thanksgiving, and on my trip to Alaska the whales were incredible. They do have whale sighting boats off the coast of Montauk Point which is the end of Long Island, but I never went on one.
So glad you’ve seen these majestic animals up close and personal. But the Arctic ones are something different entirely. I hope you took lots of pictures because you are a very good photog.! Wonderful you shared this with your precious Jac. Speaking of artistic
ability, I’ve thought many times about you doing a coffee table book with all your sketches, and I think it
would be very successful!!! Just sayin’.
Ever see any dolphin or whales? We always have a whale or two show up . They stop traffic on PCH. They
REALLY put on a big show. It’s. Thrilling to see them “wave” and carry on, I nearly go nuts.
Cela….the Sound is over 26 miles long and I’m pretty close to NYC. I have never seen a whale or a dolphin this far away from the ocean though I have heard on rare occasions they have been spotted.
Looks so beautiful and relaxing! I could sit in a chair and watch that for hours.
Hi Louis, I packed half my closet full of Linea and we took the Orient Point Ferry across the Sound this afternoon. We escaped Dodge and spending a few days in Newport and Watch Hill. The water was beautiful, very calm and very blue. Should have some Linea at my doorstep when I get home.
Best regards, Elaine
OOOOH, That sounds so nice. The perfect weekend.
Dear Louis,
In Los Angeles today it rained cats and dogs for two
Minutes ! Icy cold, I think it got down to 50 last night , burrrrrr. It is gorgeous on the Sound. Do you ever have wildlife visit?
The rain is good for the fires!
We have rabbits and squirrels mostly….sometimes a fox or two and sometimes 3 deer show up but now that the flowers are gone I guess they are looking elsewhere for food
On the PNW Coast it is a beautiful crisp clear day also. All the red and gold leaves are laying on the ground, a nice warm blanket for mother earth.
