…………………..The Sept 06 TSV was an embroidered Wool Boucle jacket with emb………My embroidered boucle jackets were by now highly anticipated and were quickly becoming collectors items. The coordinating TN and sweater knit pencil skirt were the upsells. I believe they were in a wool and acrylic blend…………The emb. was truly exquisite. The type of emb. is called “Bundle Thread”, because there are many threads that make up each longish stitch…The colors were BLACK, DARK JADE and CLARET RED, and each jacket had different color emb.

I wore my claret jacket this week. I always get compliments on it! Thanks again for designing wearable, timeless pieces!
P.S. I wear my Claret Red jacket with a fuchsia wool scarf, it picks up the fuchsia threads in the jacket’s embroidery.
I was lucky enough to get this boucle jacket on eBay, it is pristine! I’ll love wearing this…if I ever go out! The dark jade goes exceptionally well with the pine multi floral blouse you offered recently. The touches of violet in the blouse are picked up in the violet embroidery of the boucle jacket.
I tried them on together and liked the look. Do you think it is too busy, however?
Stay warm and safe in this newest storm!
Judi….I haven’t looked at them together ….I no longer have the jacket….but I can see in my minds eye that there is harmony between the two….so yes I can see them together
I have all three colors and wear them often. While shopping last week a lady came up to me and said “linea right?”
Don’t ever part with them Elizabeth. They will never ever go out of style, and will only become more precious because that kind of workmanship and emb is a thing of the past.
This beauty is hanging on my armoire at this very moment! It is as pristine as when I bought it. So sorry that those who came into the Linea fold later didn’t have a chance to get these boucle beauties before you could no longer produce them. But check eBay!!!
These are really beautiful designs that I never knew
were offered . I think I was too busy to just search all
the lines at QVC. But I blame WVC for not properly
promoting the Linea line and keeping it in the background, and this continued throughout the life of the line. It’s simple merchandizing. If clothing racks in a B&M are kept in the front they are seen and bought.
But if they are kept in the back the opposite is true. QVC wanted to push cheap looking, boring products
on its customers while keeping it’s upscale, designer
products hidden. It was straight up brainwashing!
Your designs, Louis, have me swimming in beauty. Such an uplifting feeling.
How much I regret that I discovered your line on QVC four years after you presented these luxurious garments.
