…………………..The other morning, as I was sitting at my computer looking out the window at 9am. it started to SNOW and SNOW and SNOW…..The prediction was that we would have 6 to 8 inches of snow and it would be over by 5pm. Before too long everything was covered with a blanket of white snow.We had a blizzard about a week or so ago, but the difference there were extremely high winds. The winds blew the snow right off the branches of the trees, which is a good thing, but doesn’t make for a pretty snow fall……This time there was barely a breeze which allowed the snow to stick to every tiny branch. It was a winter wonderland, and I felt I was inside a snow globe…….All of the pictures above were taken from inside my house. My sun porch has all of my planters of geraniums and they are just loving it. They look better now than all summer long…….the story is to be con’t.

Louis some of these pictures need to be printed and framed they are that beautiful. Its truly a winter wonderland at your house. By the way I follow Anne Klein on Facebook and they are reaching into the archives for new jackets you might want to check it out.
Sharon…..I don’t know what kind of archives they would have since the entire library of clothes that Donna and I created, including original Anne Klein pieces, were all sold off to a discount house. All of the designs Donna and I did and All of the rest of them that I did for the next 10 years when I was alone were all gone. We were broken hearted. So they can only have photos and there weren’t too many of them.
Did you like to play in the snow as a boy, Louis? I spent lots of time outdoors in the winter as a kid, sledding, ice skating on the frozen creek, and having snowball fights. We used to look forward to snow days.
I’m no good now in anything below 50 degrees now. Let alone 50 below. Your lovely fireplace will be working overtime. Some extra sherry is probably warranted, too.
Carol, when I was a boy in the 50s all we could do was play outside…LOL….but yes, I always loved the snow, and we did all the usual things, snow men, sledding and my older brothers built igloos when it really snowed a lot. I always lost out in snow ball fights with my brothers and their friends because I was the smallest.I used to go ice skating too with my cousins and then home for hot chocolate. Kids today are really missing out……I’m a Port man myself.
My husband is a Port man, too. I’m both. Why limit myself?
Louis, it truly looks like a winter wonderland. Your water view is always amazing. Thanks for sharing all of the pictures with us.
