Whisper Knit Sneak Peek #2 is A233950, THE KIMONO CARDIGAN. This is a RELAXED FIT garment, but by NO means is it OVER SIZED…..so buy your normal size. There are no buttons or closures on the cardigan, which gives it a very nonchalant look. The sleeves are 3/4 length. It is also perfect for accessories since there are no details or adornments to clash with the accessories your might want to wear. This can be super casual with jeans, Capri pants and leggings….or….the perfect cover up over a little summer dress. Pair it with a matching or contrast layering piece, a pencil skirt,the new tea cup or pointy flats, and you’re office ready…….uncomplicated….easy and MODERN. Since my introduction to your wonderful fashions, I have become less fussy and more willing to try things I would not have considered with great results. Years ago, I had my ‘colours’and was assessed as cool. Would you recommend sticking with those tones that work or venturing out sneaking a taste of lime and nectarine in small doses? I an a little nervous and would appreciate your advice. I love the hot pink and aqua!

Dear Kate……I was never a great believer in those color charts and dictates………personally I think they are all baloney and a scheme to make money. You can easily wear almost any color with a simple change of make up. I have worked with the BEST make up people in the WORLD!!! to know this is true. Do you think models have the ideal skin colors that work with every color in the rainbow…..no they do not…..many have terrible complexions, but the camera loves their bone structure…..the rest can be adjusted with make up…..so I say give it a try….it may be just a matter of tweaking your foundation, blush or lip color……summer time bronzers are a miracle. Jac NEVER sits with her face in the sun and never lets her face get tan, but after she applies her make up you would never know it isn’t naturally tanned.

Love the kimono style. I have one that you did 2-3 years ago in aubergine with embroidered flowers that I have really enjoyed.
I have a question about the hot pink color. Is this the same pink that you used in your pink/orange tie dye sweater? Will they go together??? I am thinking about putting the hot pink WK tank under the pink/orange tie dye sweater. Will that work?

Dear Carol…..the pink in the sweatr is paler and softer….more of a water color. However, even though the Hot Pink WK is stronger, I still like them together. The pinks are the same family.
