………………….For May 07 I presented a beautiful linen jacket with beautiful emb. It was chosen as the May TSV!……It had a beautiful VINE pattern around the neck, down the front, around the bottom hem. There was a separate pattern I designed for the sleeves. To edge the entire jacket I had black gros grain ribbon pleated on the diagonal and stitched onto the jacket as a border. It had one loop and button closure. The colors were PALE BLUE/ BLACK, NATURAL BLACK and IVORY/BLACK……There was a crop pant in linen in BLACK, PALE BLUE, NATURAL and IVORY to coordinate. A shell tank sweater in PALE BLUE, BLACK and IVORY finished the outfit.

Louis, When we last “chatted” you suggested that I might find some of my favorites as you shared designs from the past years. I have not been checking but tonight was thinking about you and checked the blog. Immediately I discovered a favorite right away. I have the May 07 TSV linen jacket in ivory. It is probably a bit snug right now, but looks as lovely now as it did when it arrived. Since I found the jacket, I scrolled back a few posts and found another favorite, another linen jacket. The April 06 linen jacket remains one of my favorite Linea purchases. I purchased the the light blue and wore it many times. I know I actually ended up wearing it to a daytime wedding. I always received compliments when I wore that jacket. I continued the “stroll down memory lane” and didn’t find other items that I purchased, I obviously didn’t scroll long enough, but I found a sweater that I had missed seeing, the Part 2 of February 06 had a cardigan with tonal pearl embroidery. I would have snatched that sweater in the aqua if I had seen it. As i look at these designs, I see so many that are like nothing that is available today. For the sake of past budgets, it was probably a good thing that I missed some of these beauties. I enjoyed the photos you shared of snow, here in Virginia we have had just a little snow but several ice storms. This normally would be an issue, but since I don’t have to go out I could stay safe and warm inside. For so many reasons I am ready for spring and warm weather. Stay well and safe. Classic Ms.
Lou, I purchased the pale blue version of this jacket with tank when it was the TSV. I again will wear the jacket and tank in the summer with black pants. It is a beauty! Even though jacket and tank are about 14 years old. It still looks lovely as well as current. I recently lost some pounds and got back to my fighting weight so your lovely pale blue jacket and tank will be part of my summer wardrobe again. Thank you for your talent as a timeless designer.
