To all our dear friends……Jac and I want to wish all of you a HAPPY EASTER and to our Jewish friends…a HAPPY PASSOVER. At this holiest time of the year, we take the opportunity to thank God for all the blessings he has bestowed upon us. I hope that all in the Dell’Olio household enjoyed all the blessings of Easter! Our youngest and my “Almost” came here to spend Easter with us. It’s always a blessing to have time to share with them. Wedding in July in Jamaica! Both families are very pleased :-).
Dear Louis and Jac, I’m just now seeing your most kind and thoughtful Easter greeting as I was out of town welcoming a new baby granddaughter. Your lovely collections and your enthusiasm in sharing your expertise with us in this personal way is a blessing and encouragement to me. On a minor side note – I do landscape paintings in oil and am even carrying some of your creative ideas over into my work – use of color & a more conscious effort to create collections rather than individual pieces, for ex. I can’t wait for your show Wed.!
Dear Becky…….ah to paint again…..I’m not too bad at it….not great either…. but OK……..The only problem is I didn’t find it relaxing…..it was work.
I know the feeling:-) I “work” for a couple of hours, have a glorious flight to somewhere amazing for about 1/2 hr. as I swish and mold the paint around and then it’s back to the work of analyzing & “fixing” unfortunate areas in the painting and then cleaning up the brushes, etc., etc.
47 more hrs ’til your SHOW!!!
And I am so grateful that He has brought you into my life. You are a blessing to me many times over. Thank you.
