“APRIL SNEAK PEEK #1 CON’T”

The third and final sneak peek of A233182, the HYBRID BLAZER, features the …………….WHITE……….. SWEAT SHIRT BLAZER. I literally took it out of the plastic bag and put it on the form…..I recommend a little steaming before wearing…..just to get the packing wrinkles out. I absolutely love the combination of the …….WHITE JACKET…. the AQUA SLEEVELESS MOCK NECK WK…..and….the LIMOGES BLUE…draw string skirt. The blues are wonderful together and look like the waters of the South Seas! In the photo above left, you get a good shot of the patch pocket. Doing the pocket this way eliminates the floating bag on the inside and also prevents see through………..very important with a white jacket……….This is a white jacket and this is an unlined jacket, so there is a hint of see through but that’s the compromise you have to accept with a WHITE UNLINED JACKET. ,It doesn’t bother me at all……..comfort is KEY!!! How does this color compared to the Ivory of the TSV peplum jacket?? This color is definitely whiter, so you can not wear the two together. I know someone will ask that question so I thought I would beat them to the punch! Ladies remember…..this jacket is NOT about a crisp tailored garment…..it’s all about casual, comfortable, relaxed dressing. You have crepes and cotton sateen jackets to satisfy the “crisp” and “tailored”category……………..that’s why I feel this may fill a gap in your wardrobes…………………..enjoy…………much Love……………….Louis

    P.S. Louis,

As long as I’m bothering you with questions … are those pockets I spy on the drawstring skirt? And which photo of the Limoge blue skirt do you think is most accurate?

    THANK YOU. Cathy in PA

Yes…..it absolutely has pockets. All of the photos of the blue are pretty accurate, but still not quite. It’s a very saturated blue.

    Dear Louis,

Warning … you’re not going to like this question, so apologies in advance … You’ve had me in a “blue” mood ever since I saw those “ocean in Anguilla” pictures, and I have very little blue in my wardrobe other than Navy, which I adore, and have lots of. So I did get the Tortoise double zip jacket in cobalt/black and really love it. Can you give me your perspective on the difference between your Cobalt and Limoge Blues? I know what I THINK I see on my screen, but Q’s photos are going to be different and then I’ll be all confused again … THANKS for any input, I so appreciate it!

Happy Easter Hugs to you, Jac and the girls … Cathy in PA

No need to apologize………..the cobalt is a darker toned down color…..the L. Blue is more intense and brighter…

Love the jackets, Louis. You mentioned that the white does not match the ivory tsv jacket, but is it as bright as an optic white? Or is it a bit softer than that?

    Thanks for your help!

Dear Ann……….It is very difficult to get a true optic white in the poly/ rayon/ span. I would not call this Optic white which is a almost a blue white…..it is definitely softer.. You can achieve a true optict white with cotton, but very difficult in other fabrics………still, it is definitely more white than the TSV jacket.

        Louis,

        Thanks for your quick reply.

I’m glad that it’s not an optic white, as I prefer the softer white.

Looking forward to “seeing” you soon!

        Ann

Such lovely colours together, Louis! How long is this ‘jacket’?

Sorry for not including that info. The jacket is 26 inches, size xs, [measured on the form] to it’s longest point. The jacket is shorter in the back…..which is done intentionally to get a slouchier look.
