……………………There were two new items added to the Linea .com site in Nov…a Roma Ponte knit dress in black and a gaberdine rayon/poly/span jacket in Graphite…..The simple dress had elbow sleeves, and a V-neck….All of the seams were top stitched for an added detail….The jacket was simple, but beautifully tailored. All of the button holes were bound. The bound button hole on the 3/4 sleeve was a nice touch……These items never received air time, and were only sold on the Linea site…Now is when my photos on my blog really became important….The only problem was very few of the Linea Ladies knew about the site yet.

Those of us who were by now networking with each other outside of QVC did know about your blog! And fortunately word spread from there. We were still anxious about the survival of Linea and would make ourselves available to watch your wee small hours shows. Inventory was low, and we snapped things up as soon as we could. The aggravating thing for a good long while was that even if we ordered the minute things were up for ordering at midnight, the early bird did not get the worm as it appeared that orders were filled first that were ordered while they were on a show. And often things were over-sold from the shows! We also often put things in our shopping carts to hold for another Linea Lady. And then did a “Bill to, Ship To” and reimbursed each other. If you snooze, you lose! QVC moved in very mysterious ways and created a lot of aggravation and ill-will. Curious marketing scheme. But the good thing is that many of us developed strong friendships that still last today. I did buy this wonderful LBD, and it remains a staple in my wardrobe. The sleeve length is wonderful for wearing a jacket over it as the sleeves don’t bunch up. Now if we could only order things from your blog now!
