…………………….VERY VERY FRENCH……VIOLET & BLACK…….So Chic…so Sophisticated……Who could tell you weren’t wearing hundreds of $$$$ worth of clothes. The big black shawl was one I did in WK. I had done it for Anne Klein and showed it with everything from suits to long evening columns…..a truly fabulous piece and great for air plane travel too. The Ivory shirt came with ivory streamers, but the shirt also came in Black….so I combined the two using the ivory shirt with the black streamers……….Really all you needed was a fabulous black WK sweater, the hounds tooth skirt and the shawl to make a strong statement.
I was mad for this suit in these colors.
Yes Louis, it just occurred to me “The Shawl says it all”.
Right? All through my dating years, I guess 16 through
25 when I got married, I used to wear a feminine, swishy kind of dress and a SHAW, for when it got cool, and it really didn’t matter what I had on, the shawl just seemed to work. Mine was crochet with fringes in an ecru color
that my Godmother made for me AND I Still HAVE It !!!!
My favorite summer pumps were I think by Charles Jordan in black patent with wedge cutouts radiating out to the toe. I want to tell you everybody knocked off that
shoe, everywhere, just a shoe that made the outfit 💛but they were always
bad imitations.
