…………………………The shape is A-Line…..and keep it SHORT! I always loved the mix of pink and red, but it had to be the right pink and the right red…There are winter pinks and reds like those I had chosen, and there are summer reds and pinks that are lighter and brighter…The little semi swing zip front wool crepe jackets in RED and HOT PINK were shown over contrast slightly A-line pencil skirts. The jackets had Gold ball zipper pulls……The Hot Pink and Red tights with matching pumps were tantamount to complete the look…..Gold Ball drop earrings and Gold Ball stick pins were the perfect accessory. The shoes matched the color of the tights to keep an elongated look.
I just LOVE looking back at the past. Like you said, it all could be worn now just as easily. Everything looks current.
Speaking of pink and red… I got the India print knit top in Ebony. I just wasn’t sure about the other colors. I think they didn’t show well. Usually I go for the colors instead of neutrals. Then I decided I loved the fabric and the cut of that top. Very comfy. I WANTED the blue, but it was sold out in my size. A red/pink became available, so I bought that. OMG! I LOVE those colors!!! The red is a ? cherry red, and of course the India pink. LOVE IT! Now a blue has popped up, and I have waited over a week for it to ship. Says “preparing your order” That is one of the worst things about QVC (among others). The shipping SUCKS.
Also, I decided I wanted a navy ponte cropped pant. I have been checking every day. Today, my size popped up in navy. So it’s a very happy day for me!
