…………………………This has been a banner year for Hydrangeas! Every one of my bushes, of which I have at least 30 around the property, are bursting with blooms. As I drive around the neighborhood I see that everyone’s bushes are just as beautiful!…….I have found that this has become an every other year happening. Last year they weren’t anywhere as full as this year…….Jac would never let me cut them and bring them into the house. She liked them “just the way they are”. At the end of the season she would cut them and hang them in the basement upside down to dry. We would then have Hydrangea bouquets all winter long.

I have been wearing my hydrangea shirts (inspired by your garden I believe?) a lot this summer. The open neckline, the cool wisp of a fabric, and that beautiful print simply calls me in the morning when I enter my closet! I have five of them and I still cannot decide which is my favorite. I am so thankful I have them – my Linea treasures! ❤️
Susan, the print was absolutely inspired by my garden. I had taken pictures of the Hydrangeas and gave them to the print developer. They couldn’t get the leaves right so I cut a bunch of leaves and brought them in too so they could scan them. I am so happy to hear you are still enjoying those beautiful tops.
Once again, Louis, you and Jac bring gifts of beauty and joy to us … Thank You!
Your hydrangeas are spectacular!
Gorgeous blossoms!! Someone takes very good care of these gems!
I definitely agree! One small hydrangea we have is called ‘Pistachio’ and it has over 30 blooms for its size (3′ X 4′); another ‘Wedding Gown’ is covered with white double lacecap blooms.
Belated happy birthday wishes!
