………………………….Africa here I come………….A trip to Africa and a Safari was always something Jac and I talked about….It was at the top of our list……..We never made it…………………I was determined to go while I was still able, so I asked my nephew, and God son, Christopher if he would like to go to Africa with me…..he said “Uncle Lou…..YES”. All of the plans were made and we were set to go…….but Covid happened and everything was canceled…..That was for a year ago today………..All of our plans were rescheduled and today is the day. We fly on a direct United flight, 15 hours! to Johannesburg. We have an overnight stay in Johannesburg and the next day fly to our first “camp”………KINGS POOL……..After a nice three day stay of looking at all sorts of animals we fly to……..ABU CAMP…….There we will “play” with elephants…The camp is know as a big elephant preserve…….then on to MOMBO CAMP which was named after a famous bull elephant…after than….in the blink of an eye….we will be on a way back home with lots of great memories!….Lou will be moving into my house to be with the girls, so I know they and the house will be well taken care of………..It’s going to be a trip of a life time and I know Jac will be with me every minute of every day…..I’ll “see” you all when I get back and tell you all about my dream trip!
