Peter found a huge skull of a hippo, and he decided to hop out of the Jeep and give us a road side lesson. I wondered how the hippo got so far inland in the first place, and where were the rest of the hippo bones?

……….As we were driving along through the bush one morning, Peter, our guide, saw this huge skull of a hippo on the side of the road. He hopped out of the jeep, picked up this huge heavy skull and gave us a lesson on the eating habits of the hippo. What I wanted to know was how did this hippo come to be so far inland and where were the rest of its’ bones???? Peter didn’t have an answer for that one, but he was knowledge about everything else. We still keep in touch though social media. On thing social media is good for!
