I got my Black Lace Jacket 2 days ago, and it’s just the PERFECT summer jacket … what CAN’T you wear this jacket with?!? Added to my lace jackets in terracotta and green, what a great collection. Could we possibly ask for an Espresso and Navy for next year … along with that skirt to coordinate with all those PERFECT jackets?

I have received mine, Louis, and LOVE it! I love my Raspberry from last year but will get a lot more wear out of this one as it is so versatile with what I already have in my wardrobe. How will this colorway work with the Hemp in the Feather Jersey? It looks like it would on my monitor, but who knows.:-). Thanks!
The word for this jacket must be “versatile.” I write this because about 1/2 hour ago I submitted a comment on the Community Forum, and I described the black lace jacket as versatile. Lo and behold, I hop over to Louis’s board, and Barbara, too, describes it the same way. (See below.)
I view the black lace jacket as highly versatile, and that is why I ordered it. My take on it is that it will project a different personality with whatever garment I pair it with. Barbara has confirmed my guess by stating that she sees a different look when the jacket tops the faux crepe skirt. I can see this jacket with my black and sand pebble crepe skirts and with a variety of scoop neck tops under it. I also have the sunburst pleated skirt in black, and I have already envisioned the two pieces together. In addition, I have another marvelous, dressier black skirt it will enhance. And what about that black “Sophia Loren” dress? Won’t it be fetching over that?
Dear Barbara……I tried the hemp FJ under the black lace and IMHO it looked BLAND. It’s not that it didn’t work, it just wasn’t fabulous. I still prefer the natural flecked tank……but coming in June…..I will have a HEMP FAUX SHANTUNG SKIRT IN HEMP, that looks great with the lace jacket, but then again I would only put a black tank with it. Why does this hemp work and not the FJ?…..It’s the difference of the fabric…….Now the Hemp FJ works with the Hemp Shantung and look good…….so go figure.
