…………………When they were in the oven I switched racks half way through baking for even cooking……be careful when doing this…the paper is very slippery and you don’t want cookies to slide off!….They are very soft when you take them out of the oven so be careful not to break them….When I got them on the cooling rack, after they were cooled enough, I gave them another sprinkle of confections sugar. Then I put them on plates and let them cool for a good hour and a half to two before eating………I can’t believe I made these…..Jac would be so proud of me!

Louis,
To quote an old ad- “You have come a long way baby.” When you described the meal you made for your nephews and their girlfriends I was impressed that you had become so accomplished in the kitchen. I’m sure Jac is as dazzled as we all are with your kitchen prowess. Kudos on your beautiful cookie.
Yummy! Cookies and coffee, cookies and tea, or cookies by themselves, these all look good to me! Every time I passed them I would have to sneak one off the plate. Well done, Louis!
That’s exactly what I’ve been doing “Pecan”….Today I’m putting them in a cookie tin so it’s harder for me to get to them…..just a little….LOL
Excellent job! The cookies are beautiful and will be a treat for all who will enjoy them! Your creativity and determination shine through this whole process. Jac most assuredly is proud that you are carrying on with loving traditions! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year wishes!
Impressive indeed! Moreover, the fact that you have continued to grow over the past four years is such an accomplishment, and I have no doubt that Jac is exceedingly proud of you, as we all are! Merry Christmas, Alyce
