The last SNEAK PEEK for MAY is one of my FAVORITES, because for me, this dress is what SUMMER is ALL about………..the TIE DYE DRESS, A233849, for the regular length, and A233850 for the petite length. The fabric is the FEATHER JERSEY. The exact same fabric as my new On Line Only group, and last years FLORAL DRESS, A222262. The body of the dress is very similar to last years dress with the semi EMPIRE fit and the draped pleats front and back. Again, there are pockets hidden in the seams. This is not a maxi dress……of course that also depends on your height! The length of the XS is approx.52 inches. The bodice of the dress is bonded with a fine knit to prevent any chance of see through, and the skirt of the dress is lined in a fine mesh. As you can see in the pictures above, the “coral” enameled chain link watch looks great with the……….TANGERINE TIE DYED DRESS…………………tie the NECTARINE CLASSIC WHISPER KNIT CARDIGAN around you neck or waist for later in the evening when it starts to get chilly………….a pair of flip flops or some dressy stone covered sandals is all you need to complete the look. The only problem you will have is deciding which color………or COLORS to get!……..scroll down for MORE…………………………………………enjoy…………..much Love………….Louis

Please make more for those of us who missed out!! I am heartbroken for the petite pink in size 10!!!!
Dear Rosemarie…..you know I would if it were up to me, but those decisions are not mine. It’s QVC’s money and their decision.
Thank you Louis!! I will write to them and in the meantime, I will anxiously await the next wonderful design from you!!
Bought 2 tie dyed dresses on QVC in desperate need to know where to get those gorgeous, vibrant orange bangles! Appreciatively an Art Teacher who loved every color!!!!
I just picked them up in NYC in the 30’s and 40’s on 6th AVE.
Love this dress. You showed this on QVC today. I purchased but would love to know where I might purchase the earrings you showed with the dress. Such a perfect compliment!
Dear Ruth …………I purchased those earring 5 years ago and they are not avail anymore.
Louis,
What is the petite length for this dress?
Thanks
I love the dress. How Fun. You’ve got to have a good time in a dress that chic and in those yummy colors. I’d like those multi color earrings for many of my outfits. Thanks for the peek. Sybil A.
A “Must Have” in atleast (3) colorways.
Thank you – Louis! So exciting for Springtime & Summer in AK. Know FJ will be great for travel too…!
Louis,
When you say this is not a maxi dress, how long is this exactly? I don’t have a tape measure, so I don’t know what 52 inches represents. On a 5 ft 6 individual, where would this hit?
It is the same length as A224712, which some felt was not a “true” maxi because it didn’t “sweep” the floor. This, for most, will be more ankle length. Didn’t mean to confuse….it certainly is long enough to satisfy.
Wow! How to decide which one!!?
Louis, I am in love with the tie dye dress. My question is this…… only the very young are wearing these long dresses where I live and I am wondering where you think this trend is going???? Is it here for awhile and will it become stronger, because right now, I don’t think I will feel comfortable wearing this length anywhere but a patio party (I have no weddings on the agenda). My life is casual. I might indulge if the trend is looking like it will increase as time goes by. Would appreciate your thoughts on this, and what do you think of shortening it??????
Dear Delois…………If only I had a crystal ball….LOL………….I do not see the maxi going away any time soon……that said………when it does…..all of the maxi dresses I have offered, including this one will look great shortened at what ever length you are comfortable with. I can see these dresses MINI, above the KNEE, MID KNEE or just BELOW the knee. I am sure some one will buy three or four of these and shorten two. I think you will be very happy with this dress, and remember there are Whisper Knit cardigans that match some of the colors or my new white gauze shrug or draped front cardigan, that work too, just in case you like your arms covered.
Dear Louis,
You are a lifesaver! I am in need of a lovely dress for an occasion that will be held in an non-air-conditioned venue during the sweltering heat of summer. The dress code is “casual” but the gathering is important. (We are abiding by the desires of the honoree.)
This is the dress! Now to select the color…
These are truly to die for!!! I must have the tangerine, lime and pink…. have cardigans for all. These look so comfy. Between these and the Chanel suit pieces (plus all I already purchased), I am going broke! You definitely know how to take a woman from the beach to the boardroom, Louis.
Well, since I have the orange watch, I need the orange dress.
What a great slip on and go dress. I will order in pink and in orange.
Oh, Louis!! Each color is more luscious than the next. You certainly know how to turn a girl’s head!
