For those of you who have been waiting for the Essential cardigan and separate matching tank…..it is now posted on my QVC site and ready for ordering. I think the depth of the v-neck of the cardigan is perfect for wearing on it’s own and it also looks fabulous belted….also for layering…think ivory charmuse shirt, black boho in georgette or crushed velvet, boots and the belted cardigan…..some beautiful jewelry…..preferably mine….and you’re ready to go. The tank is also a higher neckline than a summer tank, which I think works well under the cardigan. Remember they are a cotton blend, so they can be worn all year long…………

I bought both colors and the quality is just so excellent. While I like the dyed to match buttons on the red, I did swap out the buttons on the black to something a bit more glam (the new buttons look just like the ones on your satin coat with the removable lining–don’t know the correct name). I might end up swapping the buttons on the red to something in gold metal–we’ll see. I wore the black cardigan sans shell over my treasured black sequin skirt, belted and with sky-high boots to an event the other night and not only was I super chic and elegant, but I was also very comfortable knowing that it was neither too much nor not enough. Which is, of course, the magic of the Linea collection. It’s always just right.
Now you will be the only woman in America with that exact cardigan! That type of button is called a faceted dome button. There are a great variety of them due to different facet designs. I love that you have your own style and truly make your clothes…. your own.

Anxiously awaiting my berry set to ship and planning how to wear them. Do the berry and the magenta roma ponte tunic coordinate? I also have a claret boucle jacket and a claret shell–does the berry coordinate with that?

The berry and magenta absolutely work together. When you wear two “colors” like these you should bring them together with accessories. I happen to love reds and magentas. The berry and the claret is a little trickier because they are both in the red family. This would really depend on the absolute right accessories.In general I would say no…..but not never. Jac wore her berry set with the Linea gold ball necklace , her “tall” black Roma ponte pant and it looked incredible. She also wore the black cardigan over a vintage Anne Klein black short sequin dress and black ballet flats……WOW. The cardigan and the flats made the whole thing more casual. I would like to have the cardigan in all the same colors as the short sleeve shell, especially the spruce and the silver.

That’s a terrific idea.The shell and the cardigan are made out of the same yarn. If the cardigan should ever be reordered, again it depends on sales and returns, that is exactly what I will do…..match the cardigan to existing shell colors!

Spruce please, Spruce! I would also buy a silver set. I bought the cardigan and tank in black. I need a black set like this one and already have multiples of red -my favorite color- for all seasons of the year. And I can wear this black set year ’round. I eagerly await the arrival of my newest Linea! Thanks so much, Louis!

QVC should post the sweater and tank on their “New This Week” page so more customers who would like to have this set for the holidays and/or gift-giving will be aware of it (assuming the Linea ladies in the know don’t buy out the lot, of course). 😉

I have ordered the red set. At tomorrow night’s Christmas party with my co-workers I will be wearing the ivory charmuse shirt under the tux jacket, with a sequin scarf and jeans. Gee, I wonder where I got that idea? Thanks to Jac.

Thank you Louis, I just ordered the tank in the berry color. I am one always for color in my wardrobe; just wish more colors could have been created instead of the basic black and a color. Hopefully the buyer will allow you to expand this Essential line with more colors.
