It is funny how things, places, people etc. leave a lasting impression on you. Years ago, on my very first trip to the south of France, I was sitting at an out door cafe with friends, and along came a GORGEOUS BLOND, long hair of course, in an AQUA BLAZER, very similar to this one, white short shorts, high wedge espadrilles, and giant sunglasses. To say that everyone there turned their heads to get a look at this beauty, would be an understatement! This was before I met Jac. ………..I finally got my own tall blond!!!…………The image of that beautiful girl, in the Aqua blazer and the white short shorts, will never leave me………………I hope……………….So this BLAZER in this COLOR is in memory of her, where ever she may be.
All of the details, for this blazer, are listed on the web site. What’s not listed is the fact that this jacket is beautifully tailored. The lapels and collar have a beautiful shape and proportion. There are three patch pockets, like a classic blazer, and like the one I had seen in St. Tropez. It is fully lined in satin and the “SIGNATURE LINEA BUTTONS” are GOLD. The tank top in the picture is my new FEATHER JERSEY in AQUA, A233962. For a dressier look, the A233957, Feather Jersey cowl neck sleeveless top in knew AQUA will look incredible. THE COWL NECK TOP WILL BE POSTED ON THE SITE BY LATE MONDAY OR EARLY TUESDAY!…….. Hello Louis, I love this blazer and have it in the navy and red. I wanted to know if the aqua is the same shade as the aqua blazer you had a couple years ago that had the white buttons and also came in navy, yellow, and white? I have that one but this picture shows more of a beautiful robins egg blue and if that is the case, I want it! I love the inspiration for this blazer and the outcome! You have your beautiful Jacqueline! Lovely!
Hi Carmille………no they are very different. If you have anything in the new Aqua Whisper Knits, you can put them together to see the difference…..even though the Aqua WK is deeper than the crepe jacket, they are the same shade.

Are there matching bottoms to these blazers so I can wear this as a suit?
Is this aqua a companion to the Caribbean blue hydrangea or the new aqua Pucci. I get a little confused with the names of the aqua, aquamarine, Caribbean blue and sea foam. I would wear it with the ivory crepe slacks from the “Lauren Hutton” suit.

Dear Carol…………..I’m in the same boat…..It can be hard for me to keep tract of all the color names and what colors they actually are. What I can tell you after looking at the samples is: the Pucci inspired print is a match to the Aqua blazer. The Caribbean Blue Hydrangea is a little greener and does not match. The Aqua in the new navy combo floral shirt does go with the Aqua blazer if you like that kind of look with jeans or navy pants…….and the Aqua of the feather Jersey is a match…..so the tank, in the photo, and cowl neck [avail this Tues definitely] will work beautifully with the blazer.
Louis, thanks for these Sneak Peaks—but I jumped the gun and already ordered the Aqua and Red Blazers sight unseen! I missed out on them the first time around and I was not going to let it happen again!
Tell me, was the buyer receptive to doing the Poly V-neck Top is solid colors? Also, will we be getting new prints? I simply cannot get enough of that top. I reach for one every day!

Dear Irma…..the same Aqua standard was given to the crepe supplier and to the yarn supplier of the rayon/nylon. The result is, the polyester of the crepe does not take the color as vividly as the rayon…..so know that although they are similar and tonal they are not the same. The WK sweater is definitely brighter. If you want a closer match, the Feather Jersey tank in Aqua or the Feather Jersey sleeveless Cowl neck top, will be a better match. The tank is avail now, and the cowl neck will be avail this Tues. definitely…….or maybe…..Monday late….
