……………………Happy Fall everyone…………Fall is one of my most favorite times of the year……but it can also be a melancholy time of year…….The warm weather is ending….the days are getting shorter….and the beautiful summer flowers are dying…….However, the cooler weather is welcome….the colors of fall are magical, the fall dishes are yummy, and it’s FIREPLACE time again. Enjoy every moment of the fall season.

Happy Fall Louis. I love cooler weather and especially love fall and winter clothing. Here in California, it will be warm through Halloween and even into November. (It never gets really cold where I live in Northern CA) Now is a nice time to entertain outside here and I’m planning a brunch and dinner for friend’s birthdays. Have you tried potato raclette with a layer of shaved ham? It makes a simple light brunch/lunch and with a green salad and a good glass of wine, it is perfect.
