Hi Louis, such a beautiful photo of your Mother and Father. Love your Mom’s Lilly of The Valley bouquet and cross. My parents were married in July 1945, my Dad was home on furlough and my Mom had 3 weeks to get the wedding together! Her dress was made by a friend, an Italian seamstress. She wore a cross that belonged to my Dad’s mother and carried a small sprig of Lilly of The Valley on her prayer book. My wedding dress as well as my sisters were also made by my Mom’s friend, we also wore our Nana’s cross.
