The FAUX SHANTUNG JACKET above, A234416, and skirt, A234433, is photographed in…………………OLIVE………………and yes, it DOES MATCH the OLIVE FEATHER JERSEY. I have the jacket featured above with the FJ OLIVE DOLMAN sleeve T, A233959 and the FJ MAXI SKIRT A233970. I also have it with the SHANTUNG Skirt, but you can also use the FJ short pencil skirt as well…… for a two piece dress look with the T-shirt. The metal trims on the Olive jacket are ANTIQUE BRASS…………….do not be afraid to mix other colors with the olive. You can wear the jacket over all HEMP, or a NECTAR, ORCHID, AQUA or FLAMINGO tank or T-skirt……They are all very TROPICAL color combinations……………………REMEMBER….. these are transition pieces that you can wear immediately………right into late fall………………..enjoy…………………much Love……………………………….Louis

By any chance, is the necklace shown with the olive jacket going to be offered to us anytime soon, Louis? It has a pleasing blend of the ethnic with the classic.
I prefer the one with some larger, different beads in it. I now noticed that there are two different necklaces.
That is a vintage Anne Klein necklace and those beads are no longer avail. If we tried to copy hem the result would not be good
I will actually be showing the seed bead necklace that will be avail sometime in July with the olive skirt and T shirt
Now I recall that you mentioned the seed bead necklace. Too bad about the vintage one, but I understand the difficulty of bringing that one to us. What a juggling act you must perform to give us something gorgeous and keep costs under control! For those moments when you know that we ache for something a little “ritzier” (I love that word used so often by my Aunt Sophia), we, as you know, will yield. Think the wonderful blazer this past fall that was around $82 rather than the usual $62. I bought two out of three and not all three simply because the topaz is not a good shade for me. I am looking forward to the fuchsia. I guess you have to choose your battles for us. Thank you, Louis.
I LOVE this jacket, especially the green. Over a pair of chinos or a black cargos for casual and a pencil skirt for work. Stinking cute.
Dear Kate………………I had a feeling this one might have your name on it,,,,,,,,,,,it really is beautifully made and looks like a fortune….anywhere from $600 to $1500 in the right store.
Louis,
Which of the shows on the 11th will feature new items or will both of them have new things? Ciao.
They will both have new….the paisley prints and the FJ tunic shirt will be on the 6am along with the reorder crepe blazer……the 2pm show will have the Russian print dress and the new shantung pieces.
Dear Louis,
Of course I am tickled pink that you are giving us textural excitement with this jacket. As I wrote to you yesterday, I do not care if you use a real silkworm or a poly blend, I just love when you offer different looks and textures.
Would this olive go with the sunburst pleated skirt in tarragon? It would give that very lady-like bottom a great edgy topper. Come to think of it, this topper is edgy in itself, as it features ruffles in addition to its sportif look. I’d love to put them together if they harmonize with one another. If not, I’ll look to another color for use elsewhere.
