……………………The HOODIE PONTE JACKET was one of my favorite jackets that I did for Linea. I thought it played so many roles in a woman’s wardrobe from a very unusual unique dressy blazer to a very casual new take on a hoodie….to be worn with jeans! The buyers must have believed in this style because they bought it in four colors…..WINE…..SAPPHIRE…..HEATHER CHARCOAL…..and BLACK. It had a yoke front and back, and lots of shaping seams…..plus it had band pockets….There was a little controversary over this jacket, because some didn’t understand putting a hood on a blazer, but they missed the point of a classic blazer with an unusual edge….However, many did understand it, and the jacket did very well!…..It became a reorder, and still has that wonderful edge.
One of my favorite pieces! I wish I had gotten one of each color.
And I’m still wearing mine in black and burgundy. It was and still is an awesome/unusual jacket that is perfect for jeans and joggers.
