For anyone who may think the Caribbean may be too hot in the summer, let me say…..it’s HOTTER and more HUMID in NYC! The trade winds are always blowing and then you have the incredible water to dip into. One thing Anguilla has plenty of is GOOD RESTAURANTS, and the hotel we stay in, Cap Juluca, grows their own herbs and vegetables. There are also local growers that farm vegetables…..most islands import them. The variety of plants and flowers is outstanding, and they have nature walks with signs posted to let you know the names of each plant…………but…most of the time you could find us sitting under our umbrella reading……only moving …to move the chairs into the shade……………..what a life…….Speaking to the ladies in the office, exclaiming about the views and how beautiful everything was, they confessed that living there they don’t pay much attention…..they need two weeks in NYC’s cement jungle, and then they would really appreciate what they have!

Hello again Louis and Jac,
Oh what beautiful photos! I’m so glad you two had a chance to share some time together in this lovely paradise. You are such a beautiful couple.
After looking at all your vacation photos I realize I have all the pieces Jac is wearing from Linea (just in different color ways sometimes) so I really can “steal” Jac’s packing list for my upcoming trip to the Big Island and take only carry-on. With the feather knit pieces one could almost pack in a purse. (except for those darn shoes! a girl has to have her shoes.)
I will look stylish, put together, cool, and confident.
Btw, I received and wore the short skirt with the side slit in flamingo feather knit and all I can say is I felt like I belonged in the movie “Body Heat”! Sexy yet elegant. Wow Louis what you have done for my confidence.
Thank you and my best to the lovely ever elegant graceful Jac.
This is just the island paradise I’ve been looking for. I hope someday to go…I need to make the time.:(. It truly does look like heaven.
That crinkle fabric white dress looks heavenly on Jac.
Thanks for sharing pictures with us – you and Jac are a beautiful couple!

LOL! I have to chuckle, Louis, as when I was in my impoverished barrio right on the Caribbean, on many a day someone would knock on the door of my house to show me a beautiful shell or a pebble they had found. Or tell me to come outside to see a spectacular sunset. I guess when people have very little, they are even more appreciative of the natural world around them. The Caribbean is hypnotic…
Love the picture of you and Jac! That’s a real keeper.

Hi, Louis and Jac—waving from South Africa…still! I should be home soon to see all my new Linea goodies from the last shows. I have nothing but Linea with me on this trip to Johannesburg—and looking so well put together every day! Looks like you had a fabulous time in Anguilla…glad you could take the time to relax and renew.
