“PARIS”

…………………….Jac started her career in PARIS!….When she joined the Wilhelmina Agency at the age of 16 she was immediately sent to Paris……Jac was an incredibly smart young woman, and at 16 graduated high school early…..She always told me she really didn’t fit in. She was so much taller than all of the other girls at 5’10 1/2″, and taller than many of the boys…..She had few friends, and wasn’t comfortable with people her age…….So…when she joined the agency “Willy” thought she would be perfect in Europe…..She went with her mother until she was 18, and by then she knew how to handle herself, and how to get around……She traveled constantly…..She learned quickly that the modeling business was very competitive, and knew models, especially American models, were pretty much shunned…..It was very difficult to make friends so Jac spent most of her free time walking around the cities she was in by herself, and going to museums. It was lonely and she couldn’t wait tom get home……The photos were from a shoot she was booked for in Paris. I don’t recall the magazine or the photographer, but she was very excited especially since she was the central figure in the photo. This was one of the photographer’s trial shots to check composition and lighting

Jac looks amazing in these photos. Modeling must have been a very lonely life once she was on her own. She always had a certain way of holding herself that was so elegant. How wonderful that you found each other. I often think it is a miracle if you are lucky enough to find your person. (I was one of the lucky ones as well.)
