BLACK is the color of my last collage of the LEATHER & KNIT BLAZER, A228554………and WHO can’t use a wonderful BLACK LEATHER JACKET in their wardrobes. I have paired it with the new RUBY V-NECK WK SWEATER, A217629. RUBY RED is one of the happening colors of the season…..not just any red…..it’s got to be a deep RUBY! A PURE RED!! I don’t have to tell you how to wear a black jacket……If perchance you have nothing to wear with it….no worries….I have plenty of new things that will be perfect….from a new LBD to a wonderful new WK BLACK V-NECK TUNIC SWEATER paired with A WONDERFUL NEW BLACK SEQUIN SKIRT………..for the more adventurous Linea Ladies……….there will also be a wonderful range of new WK sweater to just throw on with a pair of your favorite jeans…..and go!…………………….enjoy……………..much Love…………………Louis

Louis, I have your old black sequin skirt which I love! Is the new one similar? The deep V neck tunic is that the one you sneaked previewed with the charcoal floral skirt? Or is there another one you called a surplice top? I hope you pair something with your black sequin pants that QVC will not order as yet. Would love to see them again and have the chance to “bother” QVC about ordering them. I have a question regarding your runway show years ago. You closed the show with Jac in a Swarkowski crystal beautiful dress, were you able to keep that in your archive? It was a fabulous closing to a fabulous show!!!!!
The sequin skirt you have is totally covered in sequins….the new one is the same fabric as the sequin dress from last season, A229711. You can see a close up of it if you click zoom…twice. The new one is “sprinkled with sequins, so it twinkles. I think you could wear this with a black and white tweed jacket for a luncheon where as the other would be too dressy. It would all depend on your life style and if you want two black sequin skirts…..HOWEVER….it will be available in two other colors….RUBY…… which will match all of my Ruby pieces…The Ruby skirt with the Ruby V-neck WK sweater and the new Ruby nubby wool topper is o die for…..and…….LAPIS BLUE…which will also match all of my Lapis pieces is an incredibly beautiful saturated color…..I love the Lapis blue T-neck with the sequin skirt and the nubby wool Lapis topper…..talk about RUNWAY…..his is so darn CHIC!
Unfortunately, the crystal dress stayed at Anne Klein when I left…..which was sold off with all of the other original samples!!!!! Many of them were original Anne Klein pieces……20 years of archives sold off to some discounter….what can I say the owners of AK were idiots…..IMHO.
Oh Louis, that is a heartbreaker! The stupidity is unreal and what a very poor business decision as well. No wonder the brand was never the same after you left and never recovered. Just amazing!! Thanks for the information on the twinkle skirt. I love to twinkle!!
