“MALACHITE” sounds so much more interesting to me than EMERALD….though….a 5 carat EMERALD RING is nothing to sneeze about…….Above is the CARDIGAN….the TANK……and the WK PENCIL SKIRT, A237412. Years ago, HALSTON was known for his matching knit outfits……cardigans, skirts, pants, tunics, scarves etc etc…..it was simple, but packed a huge PUNCH when you saw someone wearing it, especially when it was accessorized well. This is my answer to0 that iconic look………….really how can you go wrong………..SIMPLICITY, SOPHISTICATION, & CHIC are never out of style, and for me, will always TRUMP any fad that is the new hottest thing. The cross has been flipped to the 12 carat EMERALD side………………scroll down for more………….enjoy………much Love………..Louis

You know I love your tank tops!! Malachite is mine as well as the pewter. Can you explain the difference between the peasant style WK sweater vs. the scoopneck one? Apologies if this has been answered already. LOL at the captcha code– 2TDF –to die for!!
Chris
They are one in the same. QVC described it as a boat neck and I had them change it to scoop, but I always refer to it as a peasant sweater because the neckline has some shirring
Dear Louis,
Are you going to offer us the fabulous white pants?
Dariann
Dear Dariann……A232347 is the style number of the lined crepe pant I used in the photos. The are numerically sized and most sizes are avail. They were never given any time. They are the same crepe fabric as my jacket with the pearl buttons and the jacket with the gold signature buttons avail in red, navy and the new aqua. I think they are pretty fabulous, but since they were never given air time not too many know about them.
Thanks, Louis. I just ordered the crepe pants in white as well as the malachite sweater. Now all I need is the matching tank. I don’t wear alot of green but I think the matching sweater and tank will look great with black or white.
Dariann
Glad you were able to get the pant….let me know if they work for you.
I’ve been collecting malachite for thirty yrs. It’s my favorite stone. When I started it was an inexpensive stone. I have a beautiful necklace in malachite and black.Your green is actually hard to find. I have green eyes and they go really green when I wear it.
I have a small frame and don’t know if I can handle all the material in the cardigan. Do you know if there will be any other malachite tops?
I’m DOOMED!
I believe so….I know the cardigan, the tank and the skirt, and later in the season we will be adding the turtle neck, don’t remember if there are any others.
A t would be great! I had an aunt who was the exact size as I was. : short, curvy, long waisted. Stunning woman; long before Halston she said monochromatic dressing would elongate the body. She wore a lot of Anne Klein, btw.I appreciate the way you’ve put sleeve embroidery high enough up so sleeves can be shortened. She also taught me that really exact tailoring is essential.
I better order the skirt.
