Louis !!
OMG– WHAT A DOLL BABY !!
We laughed so hard at the sheer cutness of this new little Sammy !
She looks like she will have “daddy” wrapped around her little paw !!!
Our Shih-zu Annie pulled a fast one on “mama” today. We were leaving the house at 9am today , so we fed her first so she would not miss out on meal time by the time we got home.We arrived back at about 1:30 and she gave us the “melty eye”, like please–I’m starving. I said–no, you wait a little bit. She kept it up–so “mama” gave in. Well, about 6 pm came along–again the “melty eye”–so this time “daddy ” gave in. Instead of her usual eating twice aday–she got 3 out of us !! What’s a person to do??!!
Love to the whole family !!
Shari
Dear Claudia,
I want you to try the new black peasant top, either tucked into a black pencil shirt or worn out but belted [you can use the self tie] and wear it with your new Perfectly Pink jacket. It will look incredible…..of course that’s if you got the black one!?
I also want you to try the black anorak with a black, or colored T-neck so you can wear it now. The marine blue jacket is a beauty…I’m sure you will love it…..regards, Louis
I will, Louis. I ordered both the black and purple top. Guess I’d better get a black pencil skirt now.. What do you think of wearing the top and jacket with the black Boho?
Will winter never end? We had 8 more inches of snow today.
Dear Claudia,
I think the pink jacket, the black peasant blouse and the black Boho will look fantastic. I think that would look best with a black strappy sandal, either high or tea-cup. If your wearing it now….a high heel [preferably black suede]boot would look great too.
After all the rain we had yesterday, most of the snow is gone, except for where the snow was plowed into high mounds.
Love the photo of the newest addition to your family! Just got your new jacket (A213215) in white and love it! Will there be any skirts that go with that fabric? I may just have to get the black jacket as well. And I’d love to see this same jacket design in other colors (a medium khaki with a matching skirt would be great for late summer or early fall in the South). Thank you so much!
Dear Institches49,
There are no plans for any other garments in this fabric. It seems everyone is liking the fabric. I told this to my manufacturer and I was informed the price of the fabric has already gone up. It’s crazy….everyday the prices are going up for everything….cotton, silk, polyester, rayon, acrylic. I don’t mean to rant but it truly is frustrating. By the time next Spring comes I have no idea what the price of the new crepe will be. If the jacket gets reordered, I’ll try to add a pant or skirt. My advise is to get the black….this fabric may go the way of the Roma Ponte and the Boucle………regards, Louis
Louis, I much prefer paying for the increase in price rather than your having to change the fabric. Again….I bet others feel the same way.
That’s my opinion too.
and mine!
Thank you so much for the information. I am definitely getting the black jacket while it is available! Yes, it is frustrating to see prices on everything going up. My husband is recently retired and on a fixed income so we are definitely feeling the increases. Still I can treat myself and get a few pieces of your clothing each season because your fashions are classic. Thank you for designing for all ages including this “baby boomer.”
Welcome to Samantha! You will have to use a pearl bracelet for her fancy collar on that tiny neck. My 3-year-old (we think) cocker/poodle/terrier is a male Sammy, also known as Schmulie, Sam, Schmooter and whatever silly name we can think of that sort of has a “sh” sound to it. LOL.
Of course, I ordered the new sage zipper jacket and skirt. All things Linea and green… I also ordered the roma ponte band collar jacket in Sweet Potato; I already have it in Loden but since the Roma fabric won’t be coming back, I figured I’d better “hoard” it. I was planning to wear the sweet potato color with the roma ponte skirt that I have in what I think was called espresso. Think these will work well together? Thanks for everything– Blinddogs
Dear Blinddogs…..I am very happy you picked up the Sweet Potato jacket. The fabric is truly beautiful and the style of the jacket will last forever. You can do so much with that color and the espresso skirt is the perfect color to go with it. Do you have any dark brown leather boots? Enjoy your sage outfit!….best regards, Louis
Dear Louis,
My, your family is growing by leaps and bounds. You certainly are outnumbered by the females! Oh, the joy.
I see that your new studded jacket is already customer top rated with 19 five-star reviews! Well, that didn’t take long- It is a beautiful piece like so many of your others. I am eagerly awaiting my sage suit with the zipper trim and the safari jacket.
Wow- I just realized that by this time next week it will be MARCH! Looking forward to the next great show.
Love,
Celia
Dear Celia,
I am sure you will love you new things. I see that the new crepe blazer with the pearl buttons will be a “customer top rated” jacket too. It already has 20 women with 5 starts and one with 4 stars. That’s way more then needed to get that rating.
March is going to be gangbusters! One WHOLE show is supposed to be all NEW!!! I think that is the 2PM show on March 24th. The jacket and pant with the piping is ,so far, planned for that show….save the date!
What color did you get the safari jacket in? That is one of my new FAVORITE fabrics. I want to do everything in my “faux de chine” for next spring….jackets, pants, skirts, shirts, dresses, shorts,….I guess you get my point…I really like it!! I hope the prices doesn’t jump too much!!!regards, Louis
Does the fabric take a print? Seems like it would be the perfect weight for that ethnic print wrap skirt I am craving! 😉
Sitting up at six weeks?! What a big girl! She looks like a little whippersnapper – just adorable, Louis.
I think I’m NUTS!
The proud Papa! I admit to not being much a dog girl, but I can appreciate them from afar! Maybe it was my years of living with a finicky schnauzer that scarred me for life. LOL But I know beautiful when I see it, and that Sammy is one gorgeous girl.
Can’t wait to get all my new Linea goodies. Loved your shows–and your moonwalk.
Carol
Thanks for the moonwalk compliment! They told me at the last minute that I had to “dance” the rack in! They said George and Bob Mackie had already done it so I had to be a good sport? I figured no one had done it backwards!
I never grew up with animals….tropical fish, but that doesn’t count. Jac always had dogs at home so I had no choice. It was a matter of the dogs or me so I caved…..she might have chosen the pups. I must say I do LOVE them and they show me so much affection. I usually have Lili climbing on my chest at night, while we are watching TV, and she will fall a sleep. I guess I make a good pillow. They really love their Daddy…..and Mommy TOO…..best regards, Louis
Totally adorable! Will there be a baby shower so she can have her own pearls? 😉
P.S. — I couldn’t see the photos using the Firefox browser with AdBlock, but I pasted the URL into Explorer and there she was, cute as a designer button.
Dear MH-MN,
I don’t have a clue what you are talking about! LOL. I’m just glad you were able to see Sammy!……….Louis
Oh my goodness – what a sweet little face!! I have two standard poodles, Carly and Bridgette, a black and a white, ages 12 and 4. I did have three last year, but our Twila died with pancreatic cancer – so sad. Three was a handful, I will tell you! They definitely had power in numbers! Chaotic at times – but fun! Walks were always a bit of a challenge, especially when Bridgette was a puppy. You will have so much fun with your new addition! Best of Luck!!
Walking two was like flying two kites in the wind….walking three will certainly be a challenge!!!I will need all the luck I can get………regards, Louis
Why would there be no pictures showing on my screen of your Samantha?? Jac looked beautiful in the sage outfit!!
Problem solved, I enabled the pictures to be seen — a pop up blocker was blocking the photos.
Ahhhh…..Sammy is just precious! We used to call our black cat Samantha “Sammy”, too! Did you hear the comment at Westminster that Scotties are the breed that think that their owners are inferior to them 🙂 ?!!!
Barbara, I did not hear that comment. I can’t say that is my experience with my Scotties. Stubborn, yes, but my girls just want loving and their bellies rubbed! They are real “Daddies” girls….and “Mommies” girls too.
Look at that smooshy wooshy little face. Gorgeous.
Dear gardensla,
I hope Sammy’s a sweet little girls and trains fast! Lili is so stubborn. She knows what she is supposed to do, but likes to do it inside better!!! Hopefully buy the end of March, when Sammy is coming, the weather will be nice enough for them to be outside more. Daddy….and Mommy are getting tired of cleaning up after her and we don’t want her to pick up any bad habits from her older sister!
…………best regards, Louis
What a little sweetie she is. I bet you can’t wait to get her home. Now our big Newfie distinguished himself Sunday by stealing the corned beef roast.
The Monday shows were fantastic. I can’t wait for the March shows. The sage jacket, tee, and skirt along with the black anorak will soon be on their way. and also the marine blue jacket and peasant tops.
My pink crepe jacket should arrive tomorrow and the pink Boho is waitlisted. I’m getting ready for a Linea spring.
