The new BROOCH has arrived! the style number is……..J284040…….and it is a beauty. There are different shapes and types of stones that comprise this broach, making it very UNIQUE. It is approx. 2″ across, so it fits perfectly between the lapel of the jacket and the set in sleeve……..The colors are………….GREEN/BLUE………the blue is a TEAL blue so it works perfectly with the TEAL SEAMED JACKET….shown above. The…..RED/PURPLE picks up the colors that it is placed upon, so it looks great on the FUCHSIA SEAMED JACKET……………and the GOLDEN BROWN is a wonderful combination of HONEY and MOLASSES…..shown above on the TOPAZ SEAMED JACKET……….If you are a BROOCH collector you will want these…..if you are not….maybe you will be tempted by these offerings to become one…………..enjoy…………much Love…………………Louis

These brooches are gorgeous! My grandmother used to put similarly styled brooches on her jackets and coats.(Of course, this was in the ’50s and ’60s so that dates me.) Style question: Back then she’d pin a brooch on the lapel, but you’ve put the one on the teal jacket outside the lapel. Is that the best style for where to put one? I’m just curious since I remember otherwise at least with the way she wore them. Now to choose what color jacket and brooch to get! (Love the Sienna jacket I just got by the way! Waiting for other items to arrive.)
Dear Institches49….there is no one way to wear a broach. If you notice the sneak peek of the black hooded ponte blazer….I have the golden brown broach on the lapel. I’ve seen women wear broaches on the cap of sleeve jackets on upper and lower patch pockets [jackets without buttons on the pockets]…..all over. My mother used to wear broaches on her sweaters all the time. When they were too heavy she used to pin them through and through to her bra strap or support….that way they never drooped….clever Lady!
I do the same, Louis. Wish I had your mother’s legs, however. 🙂
