I am now introducing my FOURTH line of OLO products, the…..POSH KNITS……………..What are POSH KNITS?…………Posh Knits, a REGISTERED name, are a group of FULLY FASHIONED sweaters in a very UNIQUE and EXCLUSIVE blend of yarns and fibers…………. The knit wear is comprised of 70% SILK, 15% NYLON, 12% CASHMERE and 3% Spandex…..Why this blend. Silk and Cashmere are very delicate and luxurious yarns, but they do not have memory…….which mean when they are stretched out of shape, like when you push up your sleeve, and then pull it down again, they will not go back into shape……no memory……they are also fragile yarns and the nylon twisted with the silk and cashmere yarn gives them added strength………….The SPANDEX…….gives the yarns their MEMORY, so the sweaters will not loose there shape…….the necks will not stretch out……This is a blend that is EXCUSIVE to Linea, and not just at QVC. You will not find this exact blend and this quality anywhere else. It is only made to order, and only enough yarn is produced for each individual specific order. It is too expensive to have yarn sitting on the shelf…….This is predominately a SILK sweater not a Cashmere sweater, but the 12% of cashmere gives the sweaters a Cashmere TOUCH! These sweaters are smooth and not ITCHY at all. Cashmere sweaters should not be ITCHY EVER! If they are it is a low grade of yarn that still has impurities in it……or you may be allergic….that unfortunately can happen………………..These are very LIGHT WEIGHT sweaters, which makes them perfect for layering. Cashmere and silk are considered warm yarns…..remember…….lots of light layers will keep you warmer in the winter than a bulky sweater. As you all know, I constantly get asked by many of you to bring you QUALITY garments……POSH KNITS ARE QUALITY GARMENTS……yes, they cost more than Whisper Knits……silk and cashmere , and even this fine spandex yarn…..are more COSTLY………………………………………In the photos above I have the Ivory cardigan, A238520, paired with the gray Whisper Knit skirt. The cardigan will be the only Posh Knit sweater to get airtime, but watch out for my SNEAK PEEKS on my shows. I will have each and every style, not every color, worn by the models. Also, in the photos is the POSH KNIT muffler that will be avail OLO, and will be avail. in EVERY COLOR. Also, avail in EVERY COLOR will be the POSH KNIT TANK….It is the sweater being worn under the BLACK cardigan with the muffler….I think these two sweaters make the perfect “TWIN SET”….and with the matching muffler….pure DESIGNER………These are very GENEROUS MUFFLERS, both in width and length, and would make a wonderful Holiday gift……I am going to go out on a limb and say…..if you are between sizes….size up…..if you have an ample bust…..size up…..if you intend to layer them with more than the tank…..size up………it can’t hurt….these are not over sized cardigans, and they can be worn alone as pullovers with nothing under them…….well maybe a sexy cami, but that’s just for you to know………..I sincerely hope you are pleased with this product. Black and Raspberry arrived today in my usual Medium. Sizing is perfect for the way I will wear them, either over a tank or a thin silk or faux silk blouse like the faux charmeuse or satin back crepe. Both options will easily go under a Linea jacket. I would definitely size up, however, if I planned to wear them over another Posh knit other than the tank. For weather any colder than that I have cashmere T-necks in both colors. But I find the Posh knit quite warm and cozy. Can’t wait for the other pieces!

My cardigans arrived today instead of tomorrow and I could not be more pleased. I did order up to a SM from an XS and am glad for the extra ease in the bust and across the hip. These are not running small, I just think gapping at the bust and pulling at the hip is not a good look!!

I’m very excited about this collection, especially the inclusion of a mockneck with REAL elbow-length sleeves, especially as the WK mockneck has been discontinued. That, for me, is the perfect twin set. I’m only sorry it didn’t come in the pewter & camel, my 2 favorite neutrals, but I’m happy with the black & the Purple Haze. And those mufflers. I have a closet-high stack of cashmere wovens, but these knits will be wonderful, & I love the way you showed them doubled. I will be starting a trend here in Annapolis with THAT.:)
Is the color of the raspberry posh knit the same as the yarn of the raspberry mesh t-shirt?
My cardigans will be delivered tomorrow (black, ivory, raspberry) and I know I’ll adore them. In the meantime here I sit, credit card at the ready, excited to order the tank, scarf, and the v-neck!!! I like the contrast of the quilted vest with this luxury fabric.
Kate, can I ask do you need a cami under the ivory? The Q photo has the ivory pictured with a cami under it so I can’t tell.
I tried mine on over black lingerie and nothing showed through. It is quite opaque.
