….Another new Whisper Knit offing for spring/summer is my OPEN V-NECK 3/4 SLEEVE SWEATER WITH THE RIB BAND BOTTOM, A251583…….avail now….. This neckline is definitely inspired by the leotards dancers wear. It’s the blending of a BALLET NECKLINE and a V. The depth of the V, for me, is perfect…… not TOO HIGH….not TOO LOW. This sweater, as the previous MOCK NECK, is made in a jersey stitch which is lighter than an ENR, and is more appropriate for this type of spring/summer sweater. These sweater in these particular PRIMARY COLORS are classic and will never be dated. They will work with many things you already own, including your BOYFRIEND CARDIGAN SWEATERS……..plus they are going to be wonderful accents to the DENIMS coming in MARCH……these will be perfect under the DENIM VEST as well as the reorder DENIM JACKET…..and fabulous with the new SLIM LEG ANKLE LENGTH JEAN! Again, the ribs at the bottom are knit on the loose side so they are not TIGHT! They glide over the body and give a nice shape. It has been reported by some that it gives them a waist shape they didn’t think they had…..I make no such claims…..LOL…….. What I love about the sweater is the neckline, which looks cool and perfect for the season as well as the perfect neckline for accessories. Wearing today the red top with one of the navy PK pants. It’s a nice color on me and looks great above the navy pants. I may try the yellow with the gray PK pants.
Denim?! Did you say denim is coming? Be still my heart. Louis every time I see the pair of jeans you use in your photo shoots I want to ask why you don’t offer jeans. It seems like a no brainer that your amazing designerness (yes a totally made up word) should bring us jeans. Seriously if you have the Robin shirts, you also have to have Louis jeans. Thank you! Hi, Louis. Did you see the thread on the Q Linea Forum called “Linea Whisper Knits are like potato chips…..”…..because you can’t have just one! The gals just swoon over the Whisper Knits—-some said they even want WK pajamas—LOL. I know that I just can’t stop buying—from Cardigans and T-Necks to tanks and shrugs, from Black to Coral…and more…..keep ’em coming. Thank you Louis.
