…………I am INTRODUCING a brand NEW fabric in two new styles…..THE CAP SLEEVE “T”, A254436, and THE PULL-ON DRAPED SKIRT, A254438. If I were to compare this new jersey fabric to anything I’ve already done it would have to be the Feather Jersey, because of the WEIGHT and DRAPE of the fabric. This new knitted fabric is a blend of……..49% RAYON/42% POLY/ 9% SPAN. It has a very smooth, silky LUXURIOUS hand. It is not clingy at all……the PERFECT FABRIC for SPRING and especially for the SUMMER months ahead……………FYI the cap sleeve top is already posted and ready for ordering. I know when you get one you will want ALL of the colors…. The color is called……BLACK…..which may be confusing since it look gray, but if you look at the close up of the fabric you will see it is actually a VERY FINE STRIPE of BLACK & WHITE…..so optically it become a PALE SILVERY GRAY, but it is really black and white….hence the name…………….I think the top has a very flattering PIPED NECKLINE and the perfect PIPED CAP SLEEVE……….these will be terrific summer “T” shirts ……perfect to pack, no wrinkles and WASHABLE……perfect TRAVEL PIECES…………….The DRAPED SKIRT has a full elastic waist band with plenty of stretch, but notice in the photos above how flat and smooth it is…..no SHIRRING to add any bulk. It lays flat over the upper hip and then flares to the hem creating wonderful CONES, as they are called in the business. The sweep is luxurious with out being over done. It has beautiful movement when you walk. This skirt is unlined….no need for one……lighter and cooler that way. From the pictures above you can see the many ways I have MIXED & MATCHED these two pieces…..many of the pieces you may already own…………………..FIRST….it makes a marvelous two piece dress…..for all and any occasion…..work….play or an evening out….you will be tempted to dance in this skirt!……..I have the skirt with the BLACK WK V-NECK SWEATER with the 3/4 sleeve [one of my favorites], A251583….I have accessorized this outfit with one of my FAVORITE necklaces….the GLASS 72 INCH FACETED BEAD NECKLACE in the….GREY….the only color left in inventory….to my surprise……The WHITE WK V-NECK SHORT SLEEVE, A233944, and the YELLOW DENIM VEST, A252356, worn over for a splash of summer color a skinny black patent belt [ebay], and my BOLD GOLD HOOP, again the only color still avail……For my KATE SHIRT LOVERS, A214116. This skirt and shirt has a definite 50’s vibe….with the wide black patent belt, black patent ballet flats or sandals…..you can’t be more classic or modern than that…….The “T” over the IVORY CREPE pant, A253576 or my WHITE JEANS is a very COOL and refreshing way to look……in the evening throw the black CLASSIC cardigan or the OPEN FRONT KIMONO cardigan over all of it…..I just know you are going to fall in love with this wonderful new fabric………………………scroll down……………………………..enjoy……………………much Love…………………………Louis
Will the Black Cap Sleeve Top work with the Black Linen blend pants, or is that too much pattern?
Dear Sherry…..it’s not that it’s too much pattern, because you rewally don’t see the stripe at all in the top, but I do not like the pale gray with it. I think both the cap sleeve top and the black/white linen pant look best with a strong contrast of black or white.
