……….I think one of the fabrics that I am asked to repeat most often is the PEBBLE CREPE…..think A213621, the PEBBLE CREPE top with the ballet neck, 3/4 sleeve and pockets….which is also one of my most popular tops and has been reordered many times, and will be reordered again…..FYI…That top will look great with the new P.C Crop pant….The fabric is 70 % RAYON & 30% POLYESTER……The surface of the fabric has a slight irregular texture that I call “PEBBLE”. It gives the fabric a more CASUAL LOOK…………..Washable and easy to care for make these garments perfect for everyday wear and great to take away on trips…………………………………..
A255182 is the PEBBLE CREPE TUNIC……The color above is……..COFFEE BEAN……….The SABRINA neckline is reminiscent of Audrey Hepburn……..not quite a ballet nor a scoop….The length is approx. 30 inches for the XS……There are side slits…..and POCKETS…..The pockets are quarter circle patches with set in bands for easy and comfortable entry….NO BULK…..actually they are the same pockets as the A213621, tunic mentioned above……….beautifully made and beautifully stitched……..As the hem is perfectly straight….it is easy to hem if you need it shortened……..You can easily take off 2 1/2 inches without a problem…..a very easy alteration…………This is a top you can wear any and everywhere……..With a WK pencil skirt your are office, church, dinner ready……with my WALKING SHORTS, A254313, as shown above…..perfect for shopping or luncheon with the girls…..with the matching crop pant…will give you that wonderful COLUMN OF COLOR………..I’ve shown it with BLACK….but….COFFEE BEAN look great with WHITE, TAN, CHINO, TWIG and LINEA NAVY………………..Accessorizing is easy….think natural…..WOOD….TORTOISE…or COLOR such as RED and TURQUOISE….or as I have it shown above with my wonderful BLACK 6 STRAND NECKLACE, J290366…..which was just posted and already getting great reviews….I have it doubled, but that’s just me….I love the chunky look…..it really isn’t necessary, and it has a 3 inch extender if you do not want it close to the neck. It’s a terrific BLACK LICORICE NECKLACE, and they are not easy to find.
A255183, is the PEBBLE CREPE CROP PANT. I have done a P.C. Crop pant before which so many of you loved and pleaded with me to repeat, but the returns were too high to reorder, so lets hope the same fate doesn’t fall upon this one!! LOL……………..What some objected to was the wide leg width………so I narrowed it down some…..It s still easy and in no way a skinny pant…..These are meant to be languid and comfortable! They are a PULL-ON PANT with a full ELASTIC WAIST BAND, but since there is no stretch to this fabric the pant will come in NUMERICAL SIZES…the last pant did not….I think this will solve many problems with sizing……I highly recommend you order your normal Linea numerical size pant……These do not run large or small. I think the fit is very good………..The inseam is approx 25 inches long, and the leg opening is 7 inches…or 14 inches in circumference……..The COFFEE BEAN is NOT LINED and there is absolutely no need for one in this color………They are supper COOL to wear and I know will become a summer favorite……………………scroll down……………………………………………………………………enjoy…………much Love…………………Louis
Love the color an style- especially with the necklaces! ALso love the hat- what style would you call it- hoping to look on the internet for something similar!
I’ve had the hat for years. It was made by Patricia Underwood for one of my Anne Klein shows. It is a particular type of straw that is very expensive and hard to find…..good luck with the search
Do the PC pants have pockets? Love the Coffee Bean…I’m toast again this month…I wasn’t going to get the Pebble crepe…but it’s sleeveless and fabulous…I had Pebble Crepe before in my larger size and loved the fabric…
No pockets….just a clean pull-on
Thanks Louis…I love that the top has pockets and that it can be worn belted or not…I have the poly/span Black skirt and a pair of Black linen crop pants, and the Black shorts…so this Coffee Bean top is MINE…of course I have to get the Coffee Bean crop pants…that’s a given…LOL.
I even have a black floppy hat that has brown wood beads around the brim and a black belt with a brown buckle…I think you made this set just for me to go with all my Black bottoms and accessories…LOL. And of course sandals…got them already too. All set, just need the PC top and crops…
Dear Louis,
I adore this tunic and you have convinced me that I need a second black 6-strand necklace!
I know you like ethnic jewelry, and if one can carry it, two look great……even one red and one black on the right outfit looks sensational.
Louis,
Believe it or not, even I might buckle for the pebble crepe crop, I so love that fabric. 🙂 Maybe a pencil skirt will return someday.
I did sketch one but it wasn’t chosen…I have the sketch so maybe next year.
I’ll keep my fingers crosses for a little pencil skirt next year! I love your pebble crepe – it looks so expensive. And I love your pebble crepe designs – simple and chic.
I’ve wanted a sleeveless piece in the pebble crepe for ages! This is the perfect tunic. Even though I already have crops in all the colors you’re showing, a second pair with a trimmer leg is always welcomed. We’re off to Mexico this summer, and again, it’s going to be pebble crepe in my suitcase. Thanks for the sneak!
