HAPPY 4th OF JULY EVERYONE!!!!!!………………….This summer is flying by………….where did June go?………….The 4th is one of my favorite Holidays. The only day of the year I’m allowed to eat a Hot Dog!!! As my father always said, “the 4th wouldn’t be the 4th without hamburgers and HOT DOGS”….and a little ice cream to finish it off!……truer words were never spoken……….Due to the weather the fire works were canceled until tomorrow night, but thanks to Mother Nature we had a HUGE light show last night in the way of LIGHTNING!!!!! Today is calm and the skies are supposed to clear nicely by the time the NYC MACY’S fire works are to start. We will be watching, with the girls, on TV. Jac and I hope you all have a fun filled SAFE day…………….Mother Nature……………..no more hurricanes and fires please!!!!!…..a little game for you……how many flags are in all of the pictures….hint……even a part of a flag counts………..God bless…………..much Love………………….Jac & Louis

Happy 4th of July, American friends. I am celebrating going through a Linea shipment that arrived today, thanks to the generous help of Loren, who will ship Linea to Canadians. What a wonderful heart she has! I am so enjoying these treasures-thank you, Loren and Louis!
Kate in Calgary on Stampede Parade Day
Happy 4th Louis and Jac from the Pacific NorthWest. Greatful for our country! My yard is full of flowers also. It was a little cooler, and some raindrops on our BBQ this evening. Thank you for everything you do. I only countet 38 flags, but I think there were more in the pots that I could not make out. Be safe.
Have a lovely 4th despite the rain!! Your garden and the grounds around it look beautiful!!
Happy 4th of July to all in the Dell’Olio household! Your home and grounds now look completely restored from the hurricane damage and look as glorious as ever! OG and I are staying home today as I have a possible stress fracture in one foot and need to keep off of it for a while as it seems to be healing on its own. So we will miss the Heifetz concert tonight as well as the fireworks as seen from Cannon Hill nearby. Nevertheless, we celebrate our country’s independence and are grateful for all we have received from her. Enjoy your day and your HOT DOGS!!!
Dear Louis & Jac

Happy 4th to you and Jac! Your home are grounds are beautiful and your flag is flying HIGH! My husband and I are getting ready to walk to town (about 1 mile) for our Fourth of July parade. Calistoga was recently named as one of the top ten small towns to visit in the USA and we are very proud of that honor. Good news – the fire is under control in Pope Valley!
God bless America – we are blessed,
Dariann
Happy Fourth of July to you, Jac, and the girls! Your home is very lovely with all the beautiful flowers blooming! Today is also my birthday and a milestone one as well–65! Where, oh where, did the years go?! Truly it seems like only yesterday I was 30! Some would say I’m “over the hill,” but I haven’t seen that “hill” yet; so I’m not “old,” just “seasoned.” 🙂
HAPPY 4TH TO ALL OF YOU! Your property is just stunning! I’m jealous LOL. Be safe and enjoy the hot dogs. We have family coming over and will be grilling hot dogs and burgers. I make potato salad, deviled eggs and fruit salad yesterday. Be safe!
Hi Louis, Happy July 4th to you and Jac! I thank God we live in this great country! Have a great day. And — I count 42 flags….
Happy 4th, we don’t have children and the Hubby works Holidays and Weekends (part time work), so our 4th will be a quite one except for all the noise of the fireworks…LOL. All we have to do is go across the street to a small park and watch all the fireworks in town going off around us. This year we have had some rain (quite unusual), so fireworks will be everywhere…Love to watch and ooh and ah. I think I counted 40 flags in all the pictures. Enjoy your hotdog, try to have a second one to hold you over till next year…LOL.
Thanks for the day brightening 4th of July pictures and post 🙂 Overcast and dark here in NH. Hubby is off helping serve a community breakfast and we’re figuring out which postponed fireworks shows to catch in person. Probably Portland, Maine 🙂 We’re grateful the power didn’t go out last night and the air conditioner is still functioning. Our 4th traditions when the kids were growing up always included – yes the burgers (what in N.E. is called “hamburg” by some – drop the “er”) and N.E. hot dogs (yes hubby likes em fried) – but also homemade “Fat Man’s” Ice cream. LOVE this holiday! Gets all my patriotism up and flowing. Thank God to live in America! Enjoy your day – but it looks like you and Jac already are!
