………….By now some of you have received the LINEA BODY TIGHTS, and I’d like to know your opinions about them…..So far, I know Jac and the models loved them, and I know Kate loves them. I would really like to know your opinions about them…..texture, opacity, stretch, fit and anything else you might like to add. This line will be sold OLO so there will be no advertising for them, except for here on my site and WORD OF MOUTH! I am really doing this line as an accommodation to all of you who want your tights to match your clothing exactly without having to search the stores for a similar color. So it’s in your hands….or on your legs….LOL

Love, love, LOVE. If these initial offerings are a hit, any chance you might increase the color wheel to include, maybe, some violet, teal, fuchsia? I love a bright leg with black, but know I might be in the minority here.
Dear WNY gal… I have to tread softly when it comes to color…..I want the line to be successful and I don’t want them to start building up inventory that’s difficult to sell……so I probably won’t do these extreme fashion colors for awhile….and then one at a time…..It was hard enough to sell the WK pencil skirts in the fuchsia, violet and the other “bright” colors……can you imagine the response “bright ” color tights would receive. If you remember last fall I showed a pair of bright blue tights with the Lapis herringbone suit and there was no reaction…..so I guess it wasn’t received with any enthusiasm .i am hoping the “fancy” tights are received well.
I DO remember those tights, which is what gave me hope. :^). However, I get it. I was one of the purchasers of the violet WK skirts as well as the malachite, & have the cassis knit skirt, so matching tights is a goal for me. I have some chartreuse ones that always get compliments when I wear them, but I travel in a bit of a boho crowd, so I know I’m not QVC’s average customer. I’ll happily buy what’s available, & am loving those animal prints. Thanks for your reply.

Louis these are fantastic tights! I bought the opaque in black, navy, grey and walnut. They fit like a dream in my usual B, and the colors are dark, perfect and sophisticated. These are very high-end – the quality is exceptional. I’ll be back for more styles – can’t wait for the sheers!

How will the Walnut tights look with the Coffee Bean WK skirt? I remember you saying that the Coffee Bean is lighter than the Walnut…
Dear Sherry….it is usually fine to wear a darker tight than the skirt or dress…..in this case the coffee bean skirt with the walnut tight…but you must wear a shoe as close to the Walnut as possible in either leather or suede….you don’t want to have three browns going on and you don’t want your shoe lighter than your tights……in general.

Got the black “animal instincts” today and LOVE them. The print is subtle and unique and the fit PERFECT!!!! Thanks so much Louis—I’ll definitely be ordering more and can’t wait for the new patterns etc.

I’m,not sure what you are looking at…there are many patterns coming plus there will be additional colors for the tights and then there will be the seamless legging in a nice color range.

I received my 2 “TEST” pair of tights today, along with my new Brick Red Suit, so here’s what I think:
To hopefully minimize returns, I started Navy solid in one size, and Grey Heather one size larger. Being a petite short 2 – 3X plus sized lady with bad hand dexterity issues, tights are usually a nightmare on a good day, and impossible on a bad day, yet I love skirts and dresses. Both these fit perfectly! The Navy is dark, rich and luxurious, with a good bit of stretch, and in the smaller size fits perfectly. The Grey Heather has just a hint of a fine single needle rib texture, in a beautiful charcoal heather grey, and for me, a tiny bit less stretch so the larger size is also … perfect … and will look great with my favorite grey animal print inverted pleat Linea dress from last year! I will buy every tight and sheer hose you can make; went back to order the rest, and can’t wait for Lace, Patterns and Sheers 🙂

Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy, oh boy!!!! I LOVE these tights! Size perfection in my plus size and didn’t get a hernia pulling them on because there is good stretch. Fit my 5’7″ frame with ease. Very comfortable and definitely “substantial” – as in some weight to them. My New England internal thermometer will be thanking you for this from Sept on! LOVE the animal instincts. Have now ordered every color in both styles and of course the two-pack of black.
A cautionary tale: I chose the least expensive pair to open the package of to see if they fit properly before opening the other tight packages. But when the label stuck so well to the tight I was afraid I might rip a hole in them removing the wrap-around stuck-to-the-tight packaging so I ever so carefully slipped a blunt scissor under the label and immediately succeeded in cutting the tight! I was heartsick. I contact customer service and explained that this certainly was my fault and they kindly said to send them back (sorry Louis!) and that they would refund. I’m doing just that and getting another pair in navy to replace the pair I destroyed. But the others are safely unwrapped – FAR AWAY FROM SCISSORS – and all ready to go in Sept. That was my “dumb moment” of the day.
LOVE these opaque tights–the fit is wonderful and the colors truly opaque. These definitely look & feel like a much pricier tight (like Wolford), and having the colors match the Linea line is beyond wonderful. Ordered the black & grey to start, and now I’ll go back for the “animal instincts” tights–something I’d never even consider for myself before, thinking they’d be too “young” or “edgy.” But, these are a cut above the rest–very classy & elegant. Thank you, Louis, for creating these terrific tights for us!!
Dear Grace….I am so pleased you like the tights and even more pleased that you will give the “ANIMAL INSTINCTS” tights a try. I may some times do things that my be edgy, but never too young for my women. Always with taste, elegance and sophistication….and some drama thrown in too…..that’s what Animal Instincts is all about.
I’m a plus-size Linea Lady and I love the new tights! I’ll wear mine with slacks in the long Midwestern winters. I purchased tv lack but will go back for the other colors including the animal!
I don’t usually wear tights but now that I have so many of your beautiful skirts, I decided to purchase. I was at the top range for one size and at the bottom for the other. I decided to go with the larger size. They are perfect with just the right amount of stretch. The coverage is great. Will definitely be buying more colors and styles. Thank you.
Dear ceicei…in the fall ans winter tights and skirts go together like bread and butter. You will find that there are things you thought you couldn’t wear that now you can by wearing a pair of tights.
Just got mine today . Love the animal pattern in gray but mine came with a pulled thread in the weave. I tried them on hoping it would pull flat but did not. It is on the calf area near the knee. They fit fine ( at 150 lbs 5′ 3 1/2 ” ) . Love them so will send back for another pair. The color is great since I have a lot of black tights. I have clothes of yours for over 10 yrs that are my favorite things to wear year in and out.

Hi, Louis and all! I got all of my opaque tights today and am more than pleased with them. A perennial problem I have with tights is that because of my long legs relative to my height and weight, I often have a bear of a time getting them on and then feel like I will shoot out the top. And/or they slip down during wear. Not at all comfortable having to excuse myself to pull them back up! The Linea tights were soooooo much easier to pull up over my long legs. And I didn’t have the terrible apprehension that I was going to rip them or get a run puling them on. They remain completely opaque when on and fit like a second skin. Success!!!!

Louis, might you be able to use your influence with QVC to get them to post the size chart for these tights? It’s really incredible that they have not done so.
They have told me it is in the process of being done, but who knows how long the process takes!!?? I would suggest you post on the FASHION SITE a plea for sizing chart!

I posted to “feedback” when a review I wrote on the crystal and the black drop earrings this season never got posted and they phoned me! We had quite an interesting conversation about why they didn’t post my review. It was up on the earring page the next day.
Still no sizing chart added to the tights as of today!! Maybe a phone call from you to the right people might get the chart posted?? It’s frustrating when you have to do all this work (that the proper people should be doing!)to get this product ‘out there’. My tights are expected today.

Hi Louis, I already posted this to you, but, since you asked, I thought it was worth repeating.
I received mine the day before the show — fast shipping for me. I wasn’t sure if I had chosen the right size since I was close to the top of the range of one size and I finally decided to go to the next larger size (I am a Plus size). I am glad I did — the fit is great. I first looked at the “panty” part and I thought there is NO WAY I can get into these, but, sure enough, plenty of stretch and on they went. I tried on the Animal Instincts in Dark Grey and they are spectacular on!
Placed a second order and they shipped the next morning (day of the show). I should receive those tomorrow (Tues.).
Good fit, great quality, wonderful colors — love them!

Louis, these were really, really slow in shipping. So a lot of us bought them DAYS before the recent show only to find they (and the WK pants by the way) did not even ship until the night before the show. Mine are still en route. I’m sure you’ll get lots more response when they actually get to more of us.
I’ll echo Nancy in that. I ordered the first day available mine are still crawling to my house. I did order all styles in all colors, though, so I think I can help out with colors, fit, etc. once they arrive. I know they are going to good, which is why I jumped in both feet first.
So it’s up to us = word of mouth advertising, and the sales/returns as to whether we get new colors/styles next year…Start spreading the word.
