Many colors are called MAHOGANY or OXBLOOD which are really on the outskirts of what the color truly should look like…….THIS IS MAHOGANY…………….Mahogany is a very very deep WINE with strong undertones of DARK BROWN…..This is the DEEPEST, DARKEST, RICHEST wine I have done to date. That certainly doesn’t negate the other wines I have done, such as Aubergine, Claret, Sangria etc, but they are all definite wine colors, all paler with red being the predominate color…………Mahogany is in a category by itself…………Due to it’s dept and darkness….it would make the perfect pant color. This is the only style I have done in this color, but if you all like it I will bring it back in other styles……….Above, I have paired the Mahogany sweater with the new BLACK WK LONG SKIRT, A257384………….To accessorize I have chosen the Fleur de Lis cross in the wine, J271859 and two of the coordinating station necklaces, J271861. The necklace has enameled beads and clear glass beads….all floating from a LINEA GOLD chain…….The earring is my BOLD HOOP in GOLD which will be returning this fall………………………………………………………………………………………….Enjoy……………………………much Love…………………………………….Louis
Oh wow, I just love to punch deep, dark colors like this in the nose with bright pinks, lemon, lime and turq accents, just a scarf, nothing overdone.
Hi Louis, Whisper Knit pants in the Mahogany color (rather than Aubergine) would be fabulous, but also hoping for them in the new Dark Charcoal color of the turtleneck.
Hi Louis…I received all 3 colors in this sweater and love. But the mahogany is fabulous. Hoping there are not too many returns and perhaps we can hope for mahogany WK or gabardine pants and a PK long pencil skirt. If there are returns it will probably be because this silhouette is too long for some body types not because of this color. There are mentions on the Forum, especially by petites about the longer length. I like to try things and love J271862 Multi Faceted Bead Neck in both colors along with the matching earrings. Looks great!!
Dear Happy Lady. I hope the women who are shorter compare the length of this sweater to ones they already own to see if it will work for them or not before purchasing. The style won’t matter if they think the sweater is too long. That would save them the money of returning, and cut back on the return %. I think by now most women know pretty well what length will and will not work for them….don’t you think so?
Hi, Louis. I vote for either Mahogany or Aubergine in WK Pants for next year—I’d be thrilled with either color. I’d also love a Grey WK Pant and a Latte, Taupe or Camel shade of WK Pant. All good—the best pant EVER! Thank you so much.

I’d add my vote for the WK pants in mahogany or aubergine, plus a maxi or pencil skirt.
I already have my mahogany sweater. The color is beautiful and hope more pieces come in this shade of Dr. Pepper! The shrimp earrings and the pave cross are must haves! I plan to wear the triple strand pearls with it, too, when those arrive.
