I love Aubergine…I have this sweater in 2 sizes…a smaller one to wear as a single layer and another one size larger to wear layered up…love this color!!!
I have the most wonderful, magical tale to tell about me and this WK V-neck top in aubergine. When I first started with Linea, I naturally gravitated toward the sort of tops I always wore, and a V-neck sweater was in my wheelhouse. Also, aubergines/burgundies have always been high on my color selection list. It was a no-brainer that I would choose the top pictured above right off the bat. When it arrived, I concluded that it made me look “masculine” because, as I thought then, the V-neck was too shallow and the shoulders somehow made me look square. However, I kept reading raves about the top, and then I began to think that maybe I had received one of these tops with a slightly off cut. Ordered it again last week, it has arrived and it looks wonderful. What was I thinking a couple years ago? I’ll never know. All I know is that this top is a delight and pleases me no end. Thank you, Louis. Paired with my aubergine skirt (I have the tights as well), this top allows me to put my best fashion foot forward.
I now have the burgundy pearls, too! Such an empowering feeling.
Also, as is obvious, the V is not shallow in the least. In fact, it is perfect. As I wrote, who knows what I was thinking back then? A mystery with a satisfying ending…
