………………….A NEW “KNIT” JACKET in a NEW PATTERN………..and the pattern is…….LACE…..A259105…………The jacket is made in a polyester/ rayon/spandex blend. It has a one way zip front , which zips up into a stand…if you wish. I personally like the collar unzipped and rolled open as shown above, but when an unexpected wind happens along…. the ability to zip it up will be appreciated…. The jacket is longer in the front, approx. 27 1/2 inches to the points…..then it gradually gets shorter to the center back. The CENTER BACK measures approx. 24 inches. This feature will work well for both talls and petites. The front is also cutaway and has, for lack of a better description, a peplum bottom which follows the line of the body and A’s out slightly. I think you can see it better in the photos than I can describe it. The sleeves are long. The jacket is unlined except for the peplum, so the jacket is very comfortable…….I would recommend you stay with your normal Linea size……….To coordinate with the jacket there is a matching PERSIAN BLUE LACE PATTERNED KNIT TANK, A259104. Wear the tank on its’ own with the jacket or layered over a Black WK TN, or Black short sleeve WK MOCK NECK, even a white shirt would look crisp and clean, and a pair of SUPER PONTE LEGGINGS, A257338 for reg. and A253411 for petite…..Add the new PERSIAN BLUE PEA JACKET, and you have a really fun look. For a more dressed look try the short WK BLACK SKIRT, either A237412 or A253411…. add the new LACE TIGHTS, and you will look very pulled together without really trying!…..You NEED a short skirt to show off all the new tights!…..I really love the fact that many of you who have not worn skirts in a long time will try them again, because of the LINEA BODY TIGHTS that are now available……A whole new world of dressing has opened up for you….That pleases me very much…..Another alternative is the LONG WK SKIRT in black, A257384, shown above……a pair of boots or black tights and shoe boots… and you are done……For a more casual look a white T or my new COTTON PALE BLUE or WHITE WING COLLAR SHIRT, coming in Sept, a pair of jeans and you’re out the door. The feel of this jacket on the body is that of a comfortable zip front hoodie…minus the hood……….This is quite different from anything I have done…pattern wise and shape wise………………so enjoy…………………….much Love……………………………………………..Louis
Oh, I’m in love with this Lace Print Jacket! That zipper and “weskit” bottom will create the illusion of an hourglass figure for this plus size lady … thanks, Louis!
That’s what it is a weskit bottom….thanks I’ll use that!
Hi Louis – I love the striped tank that you brought us earlier this year (that coordinates with the strip knit jacket in bamboo, grey and blue. The fit is spectacular and it’s just the right length. Will this tank be similar? I’m hoping you used the same pattern.
Susan
I honestly don’t know. Every new style gets refit anyway especially if it’s a new fabric.
Louis,
Your Fall collection is simply beautiful. I saw a sneak peek of this knit jacket and did not think it was for me….until I saw your photos. Being an auburn redhead, I normally gravitate to the olive, but the Persian blue is really calling my name.
One question, how does this Persian blue play with navy. Your navy is deep and rich and at first glance, I thought your Persian pics were paired with navy. I am thinking of pairing the Persian jacket and tank with your navy ponte pants or your navy ponte pants, navy TN and Persian jacket. Would this be a hit or a miss?
Thank you for all you do for us Linea ladies!
Fondly,
Monica
Dear Monica…I see where you are going and one would think they would look good together, but they do not. When you put the navy to the Persian blue the navy look like it has a purple caste and the Persian blue has a green cast. Black is the only option. However, jeans look good….at least the color of Jac’s jeans look good.
Don’t mean to sound dense, but does that hold for the Persian Pea Jacket, too? I had in mind wearing it with navy WK top and pants. I’m hoping you just meant with this jacket as it has a black background.
Sorry for the delay….you are right….because it’s a solid color without the black…it looks fine with a dark navy and jeans…..I do prefer black with the Persian blue, but navy is a good alternative.
Thank you for your response, Louis! I just figured replies built on replies can get hidden away below. Your opinion means so much! I’m prepared to wear the lovely jacket in Persian with both navy AND black 🙂 I’m glad to have my eyes opened to the better choice!
Yes, I’m one that hasn’t worn a short skirt in a long time but have ordered one with matching tights 🙂 You definitely give us new vision! And now this stunning jacket will be added 🙂 Thank you!!!
This jacket is so right. Love the way the zipper disappears when zipped.
Wow, Louis, these pieces are just great and the kind of pieces I’m collecting that work for all the travel I do–cozy, comfortable and CHIC! I ca wear this for work or play. Thank you, thank you.

Good morning Louis,
Very nice the way the lace was done on these 2 pieces! Question about the tank: what is the fabric blend on this?
Regards,
Chris
It is the exact same fabric as the jacket…it’s a ponte jersey….heavier and more substantial than my rayon/span…..more like the Tortoise jacquard double zip Ponte jacket…..maybe ever so slightly lighter.
So a Ponte Lite…LOL.
semi lite
You had me at Knit and Lace. Might have to stray from my fave olive for this Petrol.
Louis,
What are you doing to me and my credit card. I swore I’ve bought enough but now I must have this. It’s absolutely gorgeous.
